That tree on the creb ended up half ripping a flare off of my buggy haha. Unlucky you guys weren’t a day earlier. We came through the day before with no issues. Camped at China camp over night and just managed to sneak back through with a tiny battery saw we had.

Hi Richard. I just changed a broken power steering pump pulley on my mate's FG Falcon Ute. Used a kelpro aluminium after market pulley. Might be something you might want to look into cheers mate.

Thanks for that Ian, I actually got one and pressed it on since the trip but wrecked the pump in the process!! I'll have to try again ha

I did the Cape York trip from Melbourne ,in my 91,. 80Series across to Darwin on the savannah way Epic trip then down back too Melbourne. 12000ks never missed a beat

That was my backyard living in Cooktown and before they built the drive through underground pass which is above the Silica Conveyor belt to the wharf. The beach you are camped at at the start you should have wald down to the creek there that produce Barra and at a falling tide walk further along the point to catch Coral Trout from off the rocky Headland.

Try putting a 76 series scoop on the bonnet to keep the engine cool like what's his name 🤔 did to his 45, not for looks but the practicality of it. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l6eprKRet9Klh4U.html

Electric thermo-fans. Road use only - cannot handle the extra load in 4x4 country, seen so many cooked engines that run electric fans. High load, low speeds, no air velocity equals 4x4 country.

Bullshit, put the right size fans on it with a shroud, had several 4wds changed to electric fans,always massive improvement. Low speed is where they work best,independent of engine speed, also on road over about 60kmh you don't even need a fan ,airflow through the car is enough, you obviously don't have enough experience with them
