I have a 2012 Tundra and I love it.. it's the first non GM truck that I've ever owned I have 150k miles on it and it still runs like new I have never had any problems I've only ever had to replace the brakes and rotors.. and I get 15.6 MPG's

I just purchased a 2018 Tundra that only had 27,000 miles on it. Berliner, step rail, trifold tonneau cover. Perfect for me.

If you really want to compare the build quality of a truck, drive several used ones with lots of mileage on them (they all drive nice when new). You'll definitely end up with a Tundra.

I am not a truck expert by any means and I read that 1794 Toyota Tundra edition is paying homage to the Ranch which was built in 1794 and Toyota acquired it in 2003, in San Antonio, that's where Toyota's plant was built.

Great video. That is crazy. So this video was taken about three years ago and it’s now 2022 June. And the price tag on that window of that limited is about the same as what they are asking right now for a 2019 Limited with 50 K miles on it?? Trust me because I was in semi negotiations on one today. I know the market is crazy high right now but after watching this video I don’t think I’m gonna get the truck tomorrow. I just have a funny feeling after this chip shortage gets better in the next year or so the used vehicles have got to come down a little bit more. That’s what I’m gonna wait for!!

The tundra is the best bang for you buck. Take money out of it and is still the most reliable and holds the resale out if any Ford or Chevy. Tundra is lacking some new technologies, but it is a nice solid truck. I'm sure the 2021 tundras will be in the 60k range.

Left out it was a Limited, TRD 4X4 Off Road, No dings, no rust could not locate anything wrong except missing The Cleats for the bed rail, listed for $49,979 got it for $47,100. Getting about 16.9-17.1 mpg

So I'm in the market for a half ton and Tundras are all over $50k here in el paso. I think I'll buy one in San Antonio and drive it here.

Just wish they would make them comparable with say the Highlander on the inside and there other cars on the inside they are way nicer the tundra is one step behind make it look nicer in the cab that's my only thing, but the thing with the Toyota is you will get the reliability and it's second to none there you may not have all the fancy things like a Ford or a Chevy even a Dodge, but it would be 13k-15k cheaper. Right here is the kicker though Toyota holds there value so much more than others you can get the resell out of it unlike others.

Toyota is priced "about" the same for a brand new truck. BUT for a used truck they are higher priced!! Like if you get a used truck that has 25,000 to 35,000 miles on it you well pay about $38,000.00 that's about $7000.00 to $8000.00 less than a new one. But you lease a new one for 3 years then finances it for 6 years to buy it. That is 9 year financing which you can not do for a used truck.

But I well also take a Toyota over a ford any day even a Chevy or GMC and maybe even a dodge

You’re right tundra is a reliable, long lasting truck but it doesn’t have that American feel that meaty 4x4 z71 feel.

Maybe the motor is bomb :) but I’ve always hated the Tundras head lights and grill . It reminds me of a 2005 Toyota Corolla . ! The taillights are awesome ... but Toyota change the front end now .. I think the tundra and Chevy’s new front end aren’t good designs. I think Ford front end is awesome , and Dodge .
