Thanks for getting out more English versions of your review. I've been watching Motograph for a number of years and appreciate when you did the English subbed versions. Now, I am happy to see that you guys have an English channel for those of us outside of Korea. It seems KIA has done a good job with combining the 1.6T with a hybrid system, I would have preferred the 2.5 or a detuned 2.5T with the hybrid system. My '17 Optima Hybrid has 271 lb. ft. of torque and is quite fun in Sport mode, for the Sorento being a heavier vehicle, I would have liked to see it have better power ratings. I will have to wait to see how it does when t comes to the US. It is on my short list to replace the Optima. Thanks again for the video!

I want this! I drive a Kia Niro and I love driving that too, but I want more space. What I really want is for the Telluride to become a hybrid. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

I am in love with this car! The brand new 2021 Nissan Rogue is outstanding and comes close with interior quality and features, but this Sorento looks far better on the outside and more grown up. Cant wait for this to hit the US!

Great review! Hello from Washington, DC USA. :)) But.. gotta have 20" wheels. Still have my 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara XL-7 Limited, 95,515 mi, pearl white. Yup.. over 19 yrs and kept it looking good. :)) Seriously considering the KIA Sorento. :))

Wish I could’ve waited for this. Had to buy a Santa Fe now. One negative this about my car is the mileage. Would’ve liked to have hybrid, but none around for a few hundred miles

Nice review, it doesn’t show only the positive side but also the grey areas. That’s what we need. I would humbly ask if you can review the telluride because if in the middle on what to get, sorento or telluride. TYIA.

Have you checked the pressure in the tires? 40 psi could make the ride a little grainy, and reducing it to 32 psi could possibly even out some of the graininess.

I don't see that the this beautiful tan interior is available on the US Kia Hybrid just black and gray. Hoping this is an option as love this in red exterior & tan interior. Nice job Kang on overall video!

After driving a Tesla Model 3 for 2 years, the engine noise of hybrids and the sluggish acceleration turns me off....! Still, I'm waiting for the Hyundai Tucson hybrid to arrive in the USA late 2021. This Kia Sorrento hybrid should come at about the same time. About Tesla: on the road, charging costs are higher than hybrid gasoline costs! Many people do not know that. At home, fine, 10 cents a kilowatt. On the road, 30 to 40 cents a kW...duh.

Don't you think, that the armrest is a little bit too short? After I adjusted the front seat, I can barely hold the steering wheel if I wanted to put my arm on the armrest. Btw, you've written, that the avg fuel consumption is 10 l/100 km, but 20 km/l is 5 l/100 km :)

Very beautiful car, it's a huge upgrade from the older Sorento Model but it think the price for max spec is not 42,000USD. The baseline will cost around 40 - 42,000USD and the full spec around 62,000USD still it is still cheaper then the Germans.

I'm trying to decide between the 2021 Telluride or 2021 Sorento. I like the grill and 20 inch trims on the Telluride but besides that I like the Sorento.

Same problem i am facing, telluride is wider and more cargo space. 20 inch is very nice if it is in sorento also. But sorento is hybrid which is far better than the v6 of telluride when it comes to fuel consumption

@@tobias4305 Having previously owned BMW's among other makes (and I currently also own a Mercedes SL), I would agree you are right about handling. However, you are very wrong about reliability. Kia products feature in the top 5 or certainly 10 of all international measures for reliability. Any country. Compare that to BMW, Audi, Mercedes, VW, the German list goes on. Even Porsche. Kia reliability beats every single one of them. Every single time. That is one of the many strong selling points Kia has. Kia warranty here in the UK is 7 years long from new but it's actually better than that. If you buy a 1 year old 'used approved' from a main dealer, you get another 7 years warranty - that effectively becomes an 8 year warranty! And it's transferable if you sell the car. Try getting anything close to that from any German manufacturer. In fact ANY manufacturer. Finally, better than all of that, the warranty is regarded as the very best in the business. I had a shock absorber start 'misting' ("leaking" to you and me) oil. These are not even made by Kia yet they found the problem at service and quickly told me it was covered under warranty. That is the only problem I have ever had after 3 years of Sorento ownership. Fantastic. Ignore the badge image of German and indeed other makes like Land Rover (which I have also owned in the past), not doing so will cost you dearly in frustration, inconvenience, time and money. To some that it is a price worth paying. I love my Mercedes SL but I most certainly would not rely on it as my daily!

i like kia products, but i hate the name kia. sounds like a donkey. Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiia please give the company a second new name or logo, that is the reason why many do not want a kia.
