recorded the "easy way mod" for the "new" pluto C/D revision months ago and thanks to Piero who now cutted it or it would not be online until 2025 :)
In my opinion, the easiest method is to use the EXT_CLK Input to inject the new TCXO instead of soldering a lot on the pluto itself. with this method, you can also always fallback to the onboard TCXO for whatever reason by simple connect via PuttY and write 2 commands. The bufferd 40Mhz are on the extra mounted SMA for example to drive a 1:4 divider, followed by a SI5351 to make 25Mhz for your LNB as I have build it several times and running smooth without problems.
Yes I lock the VCTCXO to a fixed frequency with a voltage divider instead of using a poti to adjust, while I wanted to keep it simple. Everybody can do this different. In the SDRConsole is a calibration feature that does the "same" job in software without drawbacks.
This videos should not show the perfect way! This videos hopefully show that YOU CAN DO IT by yourself! believe in yourself. The sequences here are showing NO perfect work while the video should inspire you to try it, not to scare you away!

And while I was asked: In the actual shortage of everything, I can´t sell you the TCXO only, sorry. The few I have in stock, I use for the modifications I do and sell to return costs from this and other projects. My money don´t fall out of the sky, too .... patreon would help but ....
