Im probably gonna switch to mari/3d coat and marmoset for substance painter. Affinity photo and gimp for photoshop. Idk what i shall use for substance designer tho😢 This makes pirating adobe products justified.

I would recommend checking out InstaMAT. They are still relatively new and still in development but they have a lot of the same abilities of Painter, Designer, and Sampler.

As you said, with adobe is reeeeeally hard to really trusth that they qould not use for AI, they have done it in the past, but i would not believe any of that due to past proof they do anyway

Old TOS bad. New TOS not that bad? But remains to be seen

They are still not specifying what they will not do. Their examples do not cover what people are concerned about at all. They still claim a sublicense which they can still sublicense to third parties! 4.3(B) "We will not (and cannot) grant a sublicense to a third party that is greater than the rights you give us."

"section 4.3 means". Pfft..... Write clearly in the ToS permanently, not a temporary clarification in a gray box, that you will not use user data to train any Ai whatsoever in the future. At the end of the day what matters is what is written is the ToS
