Exactly what I need. As a felon from a drug possession charge, even with 4 years of sobriety, and not being able to own a real firearm I want this to defend my home and family. Of course I'll have to yest it for reliability myself but so far it seems like a great option

i think its absolute garbage that a non violent felon can't own a firearm. thats litterally just an excuse for the gov to disarm its citizens. the grimberg gavel is a good conceal carry option for you. and if your state allows black powder for felons that opens up all sorts of opportunity. but this air gun technology is getting very impressive!

Isn’t great..I’m over 20 years from the ridiculous plea I took because I didn’t know what I was doing, and I didn’t understand the weight of a charge on your record They’re should be a law that after so much time without police contact your record should be clean. I mean I can understand some cases like murder pedophile for just BS. You should have a chance to write yourself. It’s still affect me at 50 years old to get a job once I know they’re doing a background check. I know I’m not getting hired. but anyhow, on with the gun air guns or how I went because of my circumstances, they’re expensive to get into but once you get over the hump, they’re great hunting self-defense just playing around at the range and you truly won’t believe the power of these things put out I have the AEAHP 50 max in 510 and trust me it’s small and powerful another fun gun I have is the hatson blitz 30 caliber fully automatic.. You can’t go wrong with a PCP although there are a little tricky to get used to nothing too crazy but perfect for people like us God bless

Meh-gah-low-don - the ancient great white shark - with a name like that I would expect it to be a speargun. $950 - relatively cheap compared to a lot of stuff you shoot. Not bad - nothing special or spectacular, but not every gun can be the best of the best or super unique - sometimes we just want to see how an average gun works. Gratz on clearing 50k - I'm showing 51k so you're already 2% on the way to 100k!

Very nice test. Basically the only Firearm i can legally own in germany without a buroucracy mess. In Theorie it should be limited to 7.5 Joule but Jörg Sprave made it so its limiting parts are removed in 3 seconds. Im sure its more than enough for Home defense.

Thank you! I've been wanting one of these so bad but waiting for people to do reviews. I'm trying to figure out what cal. and length I want. The more reviews, the better! These are the best home defense air guns I've seen besides the S45. I mean zombie defense. Basically, it's a shotgun. So sweet!

And surely then we’ll finally see a good variety of reviews. Keep an eye on the Macabespeed channel, he should be reviewing one very soon. I’d love to try the 22” .58 cal - I’m sure that will make a big splash, but at what air cost?

Congrats on breaking 50k! Glad your channel's doing so well. You really deserve it. Not sure how other calibers or barrel lengths do, but at least as you tested it, I know it wouldn't be legal for deer hunting here in Indiana. Not that it really matters to me, since I don't hunt. But a lot of people would be looking at big bores just for that reason. Indiana requires at least .40 caliber and 400 foot pounds of energy. That varies from state to state.

Hey man great to hear from you and thanks so much! Absolutely! It’s going to be really interesting to see what energy all the various combinations of caliber and barrel length will produce. Not too sure any of them will ever reach 400FPE, but surely they’ll get very close! I do hope to try the 58 cal with a 22” at some point- I’m sure that one makes a good splash!

Hahaha fair question. It means Pre-Charged Pneumatic. Meaning that you fill up a tank or a bottle attached or integrated in the gun that you must fill up with compressed air :) hope this helps

The tunnel of destruction design is evolving right along. It looks like you’d have an easier time if you could add hinges so you can open it like a car trunk. Or rods to lift straight off Instead of wrestling sideways . And love the way you say Me-gal-la-Don / Dunn sounds much cooler than Mega-lo-Don For sure. For now on that is what I will refer to that gun as well 🎉. Peace.

Glad channel is growing, as it should. You probably would know better then I, I think, once you hit a certain number of subscribers, it will grow exponentially. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I really have always preferred pump action, I think there is a natural common comfort in that action, especially for us guys. 😳😆🥴. You’re absolutely right, I have no doubt in the gun’s ability to shoot long range. This was all do to the shooter’s limitations. Also, I sighted the red dot only at 20 yards. I think I was shooting too much to the right… anyway…. Yessir it’s a total BEAST! Thank you my friend!

I agree with you. My felony was for possession, I have never committed a violent crime and have 10 years of sobriety. With a wife and 4 children I want something for home defense. This is perfect since I can't go buy a 9mm.

Great question my friend, which I totally forgot to address, so thank you! Yess you can. The rear tank is detachable (even if full) and you can only use the front one. BUT of course, you’d only be able to shoot only one magazine (or a little more) in that configuration… Thanks again!!

It's a PCP. The pump action refers to how the ammo is loaded.

I like it, but, what kills it for me is to have to carry support material, like a tank or a pump.

True, you definitely need a set up. And it’s not cheap. But once you have it, it’s actually all pretty smooth. But again, it’s not cheap. If you bought extra butstock/tanks, filled them up and fitted them in a back pack, you’d have a lot of shooting. Just screw them in. The ammo is very cheap and that adds up in the end

All these videos are very nice and informative. But I would really like to see shots on a dressed dummy. How are the chances that an intruder will be naked? Unfortunately all airgun test videos shoot directly on the gelatine or on a hard object. Maybe a slug from the Megalodon can’t penetrate through a wintercoat because the kinetic energy spreads on the coat. I really don’t know. Would be interesting to see @AirgunAlley

Hi my friend, thanks a lot. Much appreciated! The thing with dressing up a dummy is that these things are extremely expensive and they’re really made for you to see the effects on tissue and bone-like materials as the projectiles travels thru it. Covering it up kinda defeats the purpose. I’ve done tests in past videos, with other guns, shooting dressed up mannequins. That could def be a good option. However I can assure you that these BinTac AEAs will go thru a heavy winter coat and a sweater, like paper…

@@zgomez68 As long as your o rings are in good shape, It should hold air pretty much indefinitely. I have a Big Bore Challenger that I haven’t shot since 2022 that is still holding about what I left in it. YMMV. Under no circumstances use petroleum based solvents or lubricants on it, as they Will eat your o rings. Silicone Lubricant only, Ballistol cleaner only.

But that’s why I show the profile slowmotion of the trays lined up, so that you can see where each shot lands. Once you see how deep the first 3 shots go, then you have a clear idea of its stoping point. The rest are then facilitated by the openings in the tray. Nevertheless, at the end we see the effects of the gun, as a whole, as it’s emptied out on the target….

If you’re referring to how I got the pronunciation wrong, that’s not a reading issue. That is… a pronunciation issue. Now for someone who is not a native English speaker, sometimes pronunciations can come out wrong, especially with terms like this one. Otherwise sorry, not sure to what you’re referring to….

good... Here we saw a powerful air gun.. The fact that air guns have no recoil does not please me. But this gun was different.. I am sure that if the bullets were copper jacketed, they would have come out of the ballistic gel without being damaged. I thought it was stronger than the .22 caliber.

Air guns do have recoil, the heavier the pellet, the more recoil.

Do not put copper jacketed slugs in your air rifle, they do not have enough pressure to engrave the rifling into the copper and best case scenario you will be shooting a smooth bore projectile. Less best scenarios will result in damage to the rifling and/or the user… Air rifles lobbing lead at handgun muzzle energy, has handgun level recoil… but reduced by the mass of the airgun.

Good eye my friend! If you notice, I shot 6 rounds from the first magazine right after. That’s because I had shot 2 shots previously to test something. The next morning I had completely forgot about the two shots, and thought the tank (and mag) were still full. So much going on when I film as one-man-band, it’s easy for a detail or two to slip away.. so let’s say it was at 4500 psi minus 2 shots haha thanks for noticing

@@AirgunAlley The version available here is 38.5 inch, which is about 98cm. Air rifles above 12joule need to be at least 100cm here sadly. Never checked if a suppressor counts as additional size, might have to do that now.
