So happy to see this video, I do have other things to do on Christmas Day but nothing more important to me than watching a couple of videos on journaling from my favourite crafter's. I did it! My very first 'cover'. I even used Gesso and paint! What a fun experience. Not sure I followed your triangle method but it all sits well on the front of the Journal.Added the back and front pages with some Thrift shop finds - large scrapbook paper. Loved the process so much I had another book to play with, so had to do something with that one as well. This time I covered it with some fabric - go girl! Totally loved that result as well. The process of choosing the cover picture is fun. Had no idea what I was going to use, so just went through some of the stash I've been collecting and voila! 2 totally different pictures, totally different results and I am chuffed :-) Thanks so much for your tutorials, I can't wait to get stuck into preparing the journals. 💖☀️💖

Lovely planners 🤩 I have done 3 altered books, but never a planner, I will follow your tutorials to do a planner, is so nice 🤩 I never glue the pages 2 by 2 because of the decoration already make the pages strong 🤩

I thought I was going to go through Barbara withdrawals after the December Daily was over but here you are on Christmas day! That lace trim is so beautiful. I've never seen anything like it before. You are such a delight. My hubby had to come look at what I was watching as I was laughing while you were beating up your book with the distress stain! I found the perfect book for my new journal but the pages had come unglued in the middle. Disappointing. I'm trying to see if I can glue them back in place. Why not? I'm following your advice and being brave!

It's amazing what you can do with a book that is really not very attractive .LOL .I know you think the first planner you showed doesn't have enough soul but I think it is really beautiful. The trim on the spine and the paper from the inside covers are gorgeous. I whose thinking that it would have look beautiful some coffee cup marks with actual coffee or some ink . You could do it on the back of the book if you want to i think it looks so warned out and vintage .

I use my planner in a different way to you but it is for my videos! I might try filming it, not sure yet trying to take a break from my Dec Dailies right now! 😁😁💖❄️

Awesome cover and love the idea of using an altered book for your bullet journal. I may have to get some paints now too... I think I like this better than covering it with fabric. Happy Holidays!
