That’s a nice little amp. Not too big of a footprint, would run on any electrical system no sweat and made good numbers with the Everymans radio. Would be great for my work truck. I’ll be grabbing one soon for sure.

If this one sells I'll be keeping one out of the next batch for myself.

I kinda like it. If it had aide band it would be awesome. But sweet rooster.

Nice! Do you have a SSB biased version?

How clean a signal does it have for harmonics ? Also can it be biased for SSB ?
@radionos85153 жыл бұрын
Has more to do with your radio as for being clean than anything

@@radionos8515 Amps can cause dirty harmonics more so than the radio, especially if the amp is a class “C” Keep the radio tune clean, use an A/B biased amplifier and a low pass filter inline and that’s how you keep the airwaves clean brother. 73

@@GroundControl204 I would argue it has more to do with how (and how hard) people run class C amps than the bias of the amp itself. I used a class C driver in my direct injection setup and didn’t have much issue running the amp within its linearity. But when you have an over modulated radio with lots of IMD, the lack of linearity in the amp seems to multiply the effects of the crap wave going in, and it’s downhill from there. But the amp itself won’t create harmonics unless it’s going into oscillation or something outside of normal operation. But I’ve seen that with just as many B Biased transistor amps. Lots of guys running class D (not C) transmitters and amplifiers for AM on lower band HF without any issue. The harmonics produced down here would be significantly messier because they would repeat more frequently. Just my experience and opinion. Always fun to talk shop with other radio enthusiasts!
