@Lelk Hope First of all thank you for the kind and personal response that you gave me. In 1994 I was born again through a little home church in Temecula California. I was 34 and I couldn’t read. So it made it very difficult for me to read the word of God eventually God taught me. but I was at the mercy of people teaching me either right or wrong. I had no clue at all that there were false teachings out there at the time. I personally didn’t get very rooted and grounded in the Word because of it. I was like a little child that believed everything that was told me. I picked up the left behind series and started reading it. Reading these books helped me to learn how to read as I was struggling through the Bible. That was my first exposure to false doctrine. Then I got in a Calvary chapel church. Which was pretty sound but lacking so much depth of imagery and types and shadows and understanding Poetry are essential things you need to know to understand the old testament and revelation. A few years went by and I drifted because of events in my life that rocked my faith. And I fell away. And then I had a friend I’ve known for quite a while she was involved in this small church that was all about John G lake and Wigglesworth and so many other false dead guys. They were all about healing and it was your fault if you didn’t get healed. I first resisted They never taught the word out of the Bible they used to make what they called truth papers and they were just single scriptures put together on a page to convey what they wanted the Bible to say. They very much promoted sinlessness in this life if you had one sin AT ALL, anything you had lost the Holy Spirit and you were dead in your trespasses. You are no longer a Christian. After years of this and can’t live up to the standard. It discourages your heart and I fell away again. But I quickly got back up and I went into a ministry called Teen Challenge. I believe David Wilkerson was pretty sound but he was a Pentecostal he believed in prophets. He’s passed away maybe 14 years ago now and that ministry has gone rogue. They are supported and promoted by assemblies of god. They definitely believe in laughing in the spirit and rolling on the ground like a dog out-of-control, slain in the spirit. There’s slang in a spirit all right a wicked spirit. I noticed right away none of the leaders had a clue who God was. After five months I actually became staff for about a year and a half and this is when my eyes were opened. I was amongst women and men that did not have a clue who God was absolutely teaching whatever they wanted the Bible to say and not knowing the true of God, it’s all about a feeling. And wanting to know the next word for someone’s life. This is very appealing to someone who’s really lost and broken and have been rejected by their family and their love ones. It feeds your ego that you’re OK your special God‘s gonna do great things through you. Praise God he brought across my feed fighting for the faith with Chris Roseboro. And for about three years now I watch discernment ministries, include you, Steve Kosar, long for the truth. These men have taught me how to see underneath what they’re saying to what they’re really getting at and how it’s not even in the Bible not even close. So now I have a burning desire in my heart to not just evangelize but to do apologetics so I study the different religions and cults. I’m in a great little church in Lake Elsinore that is solid in the word of God learning every single time I’m there which is quite often during the week. I study the word myself in the Holy Spirit teaches me. I have matured in the word of God and I’m ready for my part of the fight. I’m angry at these men and women. I know so many people and also I see most of Christianity is locked up in this. And what interest me with you guys is these are the roots, you need to know the roots to know if the tree is good or bad. I need to know the information you guys have and know it well. Praise God I really enjoyed his book I read it more than once the things he did were pretty impossible the way he starved himself and lived among the sick. Eight and only wore clothing that the homeless people. But it’s not impossible if that’s your call thank, you so much. I don’t understand your question when you asked me actually what I was saying concerning the digs. What are the digs pardon my ignorance. I also was at Bethel for only six weeks right before I got hired for Teen Challenge and I knew in my spirit during worship something was seriously wrong. And their so-called worship services were evil. They had these kids hysterically out of control and believing every lie they told. Made me sick. But until I actually experienced their church I thought there was a move of God up there and I only knew their music that’s it, nothing else about them. Yes at Bethel I went to there Saturday healing services. And they tried to lengthen my leg lol. When I went up for prayer they were trying to push me on the ground I refused. They had many worship services with just their BSSM students. They were demonically out of control it made me sick I had to leave I couldn’t be outside they were crazy in the parking lot inside while demonic music is being played. it made me sick to my stomach. But I haven’t figured it all out yet. God hadn’t revealed everything but little by little it only took six weeks so praise God for that. I even went to their Sozo therapy ( ONE TIME) it was the most ridiculous thing in my life they wanted me to pay $75 I’m not paying anything until I have a session. It was a joke it was so unbelievable they told me to ask my physical heart for forgiveness. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Now I went from that fire I even went through a fire tunnel. I was a football mom so it’s just like when the parents stand on either side and the team runs through and you cheer them on that’s exactly what it was it was ridiculous. I even took a picture with Bill Johnson. 😂 But it was living with these students and graduates, I was renting a little back house from these students some of them were in school and some of them have been graduated for five years. And they had many concerts in the house and we went to different peoples houses and they were all playing music but as soon as the music stopped, and they open their mouth what they were supposedly prophesying over each other was at her nonsense wasn’t practically English that’s where I saw the fruit of that church and their school.

Amanda. I am sorry for your bad experiences with a cult and you not feeling safe or welcome in Christianity. I believe Jesus and his people welcome everyone, that doesn't mean that God is like a permissive parent just letting His children do whatever they want.
