Well I love the new Archangel's compared to the current version but I guess unless you need the shield and the mana you can just not build it and go for Shadowflame instead since it gives just a little less AP but a lot of magic pen. Or you know, the good ol' Mejai's too

Shield on archangels is exactly what the item needed. The main appeal before item rework was the shield. Post rework it felt unnecessary on pretty much every champ but but maybe veigar

Hey Zwag! Can you play full AP Ivern with Luden’s Tempest, Shadowflame, and Rabadon’s Deathcap? He actually has really good AP damage scalings with a 70% on his Q root and an 80% on his E shield. Also Daisy’s health and AD increase with the more AP Ivern builds! It’s worth noting that if you shield an ally and the explosion kills a champion, the kill and gold goes to them (same applies to the gold if the shield kills minions too). So for this kind of build, it’s probably better to shield and then pull yourself in with Q or keep shielding Daisy when she's up turning her into a tanky tactical nuke!

The RoA and archangels buff is really unnecessarily OP, I know the mages desperately needed this, some like Ahri, Azir and Xerath, but already op champions like kassadin, Singed and maybe even fkn twitch that has true damage that scales with AP "such a stupid concept" will end up abusing the meta and completely shatter everyone

Try swain with conq, presence/triumph, tenacity, coup de gras/last stand then revitalize, second wind. build path catalyst of aeons to solve mana issues and early heals, into riftmaker for true dmg and extra heals, depending on matchup finish abyssal mask or build straight into sunfire, then thornmail or spirit visage depending on matchup, for boots go either mercs or steel toe

Magic resist honestly feels bad whatever side of it you're on. If you have a lot of MR, you feel like it's worthless because someone builds void staff and suddenly it doesn't matter that you built Jak'sho with Force of Nature and Stoneplate If you're going against someone with MR it feels like you're tickling them as a mage

problem with each mage meta : Azir, Kassadin, Ryze. Ever since those 3 champs exist, Riot doesn't allow a real mage meta, otherwise there's no match : it's league of scaling until 40 minutes, and then a teamfight destroyed by one of these champs that ends the game

The mage items always get a buff just before a batch of 20 dollar lux skins drop. Then, they go back to being nerfed a few weeks after the skin drops

Hi zwag, can i suggest you a team for the for fun squad here? I've been trying to comment it on the ffs videos but it just gets ignored, so maybe you can read my suggestion here and if you like it you can do it with the boys. The team is composed by Nilah, Rell, Diana, Orianna and Wukong, all of them with a pretty similar ultimate. Maybe instead of Wukong, Asol Is a good option with the new E rework. I hope you read this, tysm!
