The only defensive item I've had luck with on Xer was Zhona's. But even that doesn't play into all scenarios. I would easily choose Zhona's over crown though esp into say Zed because you can actually time it perfectly to counter his ult. Esp if you play it under tower, you can plan it out to where he takes a hit or two. Other than that, I'd completely agree going full offense, Xer is just so squishy. Then again, I'm speaking as someone who gives Zed a chance to ult me, so maybe you're better at not being in that situation. If that's the case, I'm in no position to argue with a Xer main lol, you'd beat me any day in this game based on rank (and gameplay in general, let's be real).

As a bird fan, this anivia did not know how to play this matchup. Her QE can take nearly half xeraths health early and because of he passive it's hard to die pre ludens. Not to mention she was trying to get lucky with Q’s early, whereas when Xer is channeling he's very vulnerable to stuns and his early Q’s don't hit that hard

I ban this champ every game because of how rough bot lane is now. Shieldbow is nerfed into the floor and BT doesn't give a shield now, so going against a Xerath supp is pretty much always a loss, on any of my 4 mains at least (Ashe, Cait, Kai'sa, Samira). Even with Cait's sustain page (fleet, bloodline, overheal), it's too much dmg to heal out of, not even including the enemy ADC. These recent item changes have just made things more chaotic and unbalanced than they already were imo lol
