Sue and her partner Mark are building a new house on a plot of land near the Dorset village of Beaminster in the UK. They want to be as eco-friendly and off-grid as much as possible and have a new Victron Energy Storage System (ESS) built. With solar on the roof and lithium batteries, they want ket house circuits to remain on even if the power grid goes off.

As a Aerospace Defence Hardware Consultant Test Engineer, I'm beyond fussy on quality, I can see the High Quality Engineering in Victron Energy & as a system adaptability it's incredible, in my Offgrid home 🏡 It will be all Victron Energy units.

@@johannesboonstra6917 I also worked in Single & Three Phase Instrumentation for a very well known company in England, I served as Manager of the UKAS Electrical Standards Precision Laboratory with an out of work interest in Precision Test Instrumentation, I'm basically a Precision Engineer in Electrical Standards Of Measurement, we had customers like ABB, Siemens etc, we were measuring DC AC Voltage, Current, Power Resistance, Frequency, etc 1V & 1.0186V was accuracy of measurement was to +- 0.6uV & Frequency a few parts in 10⁹ Hence why I rather pay more for quality that will last for many year's, confidence in products for example Fluke HP Agilent Keysight, Keithley Tectonics etc ? & for sure Victron Energy 👍 in my next property 👍 In Aerospace Defence I was a test consultant making sure everything I tested was 100% reliable for years ! All great fun in career I enjoyed hence my outside interest in Precision Test & Measurement Equipment

Can't recommend Victron more than enough. Built my own system, couldn't have done it without the victron equipment.

Those Blue Sea Battery disconnect switches (9003e) are rated at 48V max, which I believe is underrated for 48V batteries given that voltage is usually >50V.
