Just to save typing it out more than already has been done - The points used in this game were using the current Munitorum Field Manual where applicable, *not* the Codex points. We've seen every single Codex released in 10th so far have their points invalidated with an update before it goes on general sale, but GW does not send us that information- we get it the same time as you guys. As such we will use the current MFM where possible, with the only exceptions for new units or loadouts. So in this game the Crisis Suits use the points in the Codex, whilst something like the Riptide uses the current MFM points. This is, in our opinion, the fairest and most sensible way of using the Codex, as frankly most 10th Codexes have very minimal changes to their units from the Index, whilst those units have often received points changes already, and nothing in the Codex warrants them returning to their Index costs. We've seen it 6 times now, and we'll see it again in future I'm sure. So don't panic, your Riptide is not suddenly an extortionate 265pts 😅 -Chef

Whenever people ask me my favorite 40k matchup, I always tell them Bard and Beard. The Humor and energy is unmatched to any other content creators. 10/10 would laugh again.

It's perfectly natural that people will complain when a new codex comes out. You'd have thought the tombworlds had fallen with the doom and gloom from the Necrons community when ours came out. Look how that's turned out.

I think I love that 10th hasn't felt like each codex is abusively OP each release, and we know what the power level should feel like (loosely) on index. People have been very down on a lot of stuff lately because it's what they've been yelling for - fair and balanced and no power creep 🤷🏻‍♂️ Im still finding some cool stuff in the Dark Angels book I want to play with

Shadowsun shooting only one of her TWO high energy fusion blaster the whole game had me thinking she got a nerf in the codex. But she was just going easy on her enemies

Something helpful for shadowsun, she has 2 High-Energy Fusion Blasers, so she should be getting 2 attacks with that. I think every shooting phase with her you were only rolling 1 die. It gets me too sometimes because of how the sheet is laid out

Extra style points for doing it while riding a speeding bike. Basically, the Marker light did become ineffective(as the Orks intended), but on other hand, some of them crashed, so the end result was the same. :D

It’s a big change for sure. I personally really like it. You can take more crisis suits than ever before and each of the 3 units has their own role to play in the battle. It’s good stuff. We break it down thoroughly in our faction focus On Demand. - Beard

@@tabletoptactics On Round 2 right now. My biggest worry was Damage Output and Durability, losing the other 3 suits and the 3rd weapon systems and Shield Gens. But playing them more aggresively seems to make up for the loses. Also as I thought Starscythe seems to be the best of the two Anti Infantry, due to its high volume of fire versus the Fireknife.

I’m curious with farsights new puretide’s teaching ability, what’s the best stratagem to use it on? Since it can only target battle tactics I was thinking the one that gives sustained, but with meltas being his best units to attach to, it feels a little odd
