In this video I will be reviewing the new Dior summer 2024 makeup collection. For summer 2024 Dior released a whole new pink lilac makeup line that features a new Dior Backstage rosy glow blush in pink lilac; new Dior Lip oil in 063 pink lilac and new Dior Addict lip glow in 063 pink lilac. I appreciate you using all the lilac products from the Dior summer collection this year, Angela! Lilac looks so gorgeous on you! 💜🤩👍🏻 I love the tone up cushion that I bought in the shade lilac. There is an apricot shade available, too. Both of them have a blooming effect but I bought the lilac shade because it looks better on me. The mint 💚 nail polish 💅🏼 is great if you love mint like I do. The tone up cushion is an Asian exclusive, so I guess to most people who are interested, you need to buy it online. Forget to mention it, I agree with Angela about Sisley Stylo Lumiere, I like to apply Stylo Lumiere as a concealer rather than Sisley Concealer. Love the product!

Cannot wait for the Pink Lilac blush to be released in the U.S. I have the pink lilac lipstick, but it is not as opaque as seen in the Dior pictures. I wish they came out with an accompanying lipliner to give the pastel color more definition. I just grabbed the Sisley Stylo pen. Thanks for the swatches!

If I find the lilac lipstick, I will buy it for sure but your comment makes me feel better about not having it. :) I was expecting it would be more impactful just like on the photos.

Lovely review Angela! I wanted to purchase the Rosy Glow blush and the Lip enhancer, since I have fallen in love with the Guerlain lip oils I can’t go back to Dior🤭. Since the color didn’t show up on you, I’m definitely going to pass on the lip product, but the Rosy Glow Lila’s is quite lovely. I agree with the inconsistency in the eyeshadow formula. I hope Dior gets a handle on that area. Everything he else they have been doing has been simply game changing regards to there face products💗

These pastel shades sing on your complexion! Tysm for demoing this look for us, it came out beautiful on you and I’m glad you applied it in a way that’s best for you. If I already have the original pink Dior blush, do you think I could get a similar effect by adding a subtle glow on top? I was hoping to pick up the pink lilac blush (bc I also love lilac everything) but aside from the glow it’s hard to see a huge difference in color, at least on camera. 😅

Absolutely! I think you don't need to buy the new one. The difference is so subtle that it's not worth it to have both. Just add a touch of subtle highlighter on top of the pink one and you have the same effect as the lilac. xoxo

Nice review Angela the New Blush looks Beautiful on you I can't wait to see the lipstick Beautiful Colours for Spring we are going to be in winter in June off topic I ended up buying the Chanel Ultra Teint longwear foundation its sweatproof Chanel is the only foundation colour that matches my skin perfectly and I have tried many including Dior I will be only using Chanel for foundation from now on x

Hi Jacqui ❤️ Awww you are from Australia or New Zealand? When I was younger I had a dream to go study there. Now my dream is to visit someday. :) Chanel have the best foundations in terms of finish and how they look on the skin. I have been using mostly Chanel foundations in the past 10 years. Chanel Ultra Teint is they most perfecting foundation and I'm so happy that they didn't reformulate it. Lately there has been going on a "quiet" reformulation of some Chanel products. They start to go into the clean direction which is great but I hope it won't affect the quality of their makeup overall.

A very light and proclaiming look, something is different, love it! Dior Lilac blush looks pretty, so I will purchase it. I bought a Teddy Blacke lilac bag at last year's sale, it is a perfect pair with this makeup look. Sisley Express Flower Gel mask is one of my Sisley masks. I enjoy it very much. I apply it before my make up or my skin care routine. I am excited you mentioned Chanel Les Beiges, I can’t wait to see them. I like the bottom shade from your photos, an interesting shade. Great idea! Well, My skin usually doesn't stay matte for long and that's why I don't have the habit of adding a mist. But setting spray helps longevity.

In love with the Dior Lilac look. Can’t wait for the whole collection to launch on the US Dior beauty site. Now I know which products to buy, thanks for the review😊 I just received the lightest Chanel Les Beige yesterday and whooo it’s pigmented. I had to switch to big fluffy brushes so that the darker bronzer and blush wouldn’t overpower my clear skin😂 the highlighter isn’t that bright and perfect as a light luminizer. It’s pretty on my lids, kind of a your skin but better. 🎉

i have both the pink and the pink lilac blush (both different formulation) and i also prefer the pink lilac slightly more than pink! however i do have to say that i prefer the previous formulation as it was more firmly compact and it was much easier to apply, the current formula is a bit too soft so it's a bit difficult to blend smoothly, and i also like the matte finish of pink rather than the slight shimmer / glowy finish of pink lilac

thank you, Angela, for this super useful video. My favourite blush of all time, which gives a perfect mix of glow and colour, is the chanel 'rose’ blush. As for the dior lip balm, do you find it more moisturising than the other colours? I struggle with the nourishing ability of the Dior balms I have

Hi lovely, No, I find it to be the same as the other Dior balms. Years ago Dior had great quality lip balms. I used to have many colors and it was my favorite formula. Then, they started with all the reformulations and I have sensitive lips and I just don't find their lip balms to repair my lips. I much prefer the Guerlain Kiss Kiss bee glow balms. I have been repurchasing only these. They are more gentle and moisturizing to my lips. If you haven't tried those, I would recommend trying them. In my opinion they are so much better than Dior. I have been using mostly Guerlain since they launched them.

Hi Heidi ❤ I currently don't have more Dior lip glow balms. I used to have a lot a few years ago but then when Guerlain released the Kiss Kiss bee glow balms I started using only them and didn't repurchase Dior once I finished them. Now a beauty ramble follows but I love chatting with you about makeup and I think you don't mind so here I go: You know I have sensitive lips and when my lips are chapped and irritated I don't use Dior lip glow because they are nourishing and pleasant but they don't repair damaged lips (which I have often). Guerlain's Kiss Kiss Bee glow have been incredibly gentle to my lips and they actually repair my lips and have good color payoff. About YSL loveshine: they are like high-shine lipsticks - think like Chanel Rouge Coco Flash. They give more color compared to Dior's lip balms. I feel them very moisturizing and comfortable on my lips. So YSL is a lipstick, Dior is a lip balm. Dior have a light minty scent that you will feel on your lips but there is no burning or tingly sensation unless lips are damaged or chapped. If lips are chapped I find Dior to be slightly irritating (maybe because of the mint). YSL loveshine have a light raspberry scent and no irritation at all. For example Nude Lavalliere (44) is almost like lip balm but with a pink nude color. So think what you want: like feel and scent of the product. In terms of moisture YSL feels a bit more moisturizing on my lips and more gentle. Dior feels slightly heavier like consistency once applied on the lips. BUT YSL have two finishes: one is with tiny reflective particles - like pink desire 209. I was able to capture the little glitters in one of my videos and the other finish doesn't have reflective particles (for example Nude Lavalliere 44). Both finishes are moisturising but the one without the reflective particles is more gentle and moisturizing. It performs like a lip care product. Sorry for the long message but I hope it helps to make a decision :)

I haven’t tried the guerlain lip balms but I have the lip oil which I love and would like more shades. In my opinion it is better than the dior lip oil. In fact, I haven’t purchased anything from guerlain that I have not loved so maybe the lip balms are a go. However, I do like a bit of shine. I have a few Chanel rouge coco flash, boheme being one of my favourite lip products I own so the YSL.? Ahhhh maybe I get both😊. I sympathise with you as I also suffer from really dry lips despite using vaseline overnight and between lipstick application. I struggle with matte lipsticks, they dry my lips out so the oils and coco flash are ideal. My main problem (like most people) is budget, and having to choose rather than get it all. Every payday I buy something even if one item, my partner is “oh no not another Dior delivery “🤣🤣 xx

Hello, No, There are no shimmers at all! I don't know why they call it illuminating. It's just like a lightweight concealer. I purchased also shade No. 1 and I will show closeups either in a post in the community section or in a new KZfaq video. Turn the notification bell on for all notifications so that you can see them side by side. :) I thought it will be useful comparison.

I actually like the way the Dior blush In bronze looks. Personally I don’t like the way pinks look on my light med olive undertone skin. I find muted colors and browns look best. Even cool purple tones like in Asian beauty. I never knew the Dior react to the skin. Interesting. Thank you.

I really love lilac, and I love your look. However, I am mostly interested in the lilac lipstick. I'm worried it will be too light, though. I already have so many pale/nude pinks. I am a person with cool, pale, low-contrast coloring, so I have to be careful with lipsticks that are too light or have too much white in them because I need to add some contrast in my face. Can anyone tell me if the lilac lipstick is very light? Thanks.

Hi Christine, sadly, I think the lilac lipstick will be a limited drop at selected retailers. I'm doing my best to find it but for now all my Dior retailers said they will not have it. Recently I had a few people commenting under some of my videos that it is quite pale and they were not happy with the color. But I haven't seen it so I can't confirm.

I’m so disappointed by the reformulated eye shadow. They look pretty in the pan but are powdery and lacking in pigment. As beautiful as your final look is, I still see a powdery finish in the shadow on you. I compared this Dior palette to the Chanel Les Delices that had similar shades and think it is superior so I’ll be passing on the Dior and using my Chanel. I do like the Addict lipstick and got the lilac limited edition from the Dior site. I’ll be excited to receive that. 100% agree that with powder formulas Dior have lost their way with recent changes. If you can’t do clean without sacrificing quality stick with tried and true.

Well, I have just bought it and I love it, it's somewhat ethereal and magical... It is meant to be soft and summery. If it was in your face lilac I would not like it. I don't know Chanel, so I can not compare. I thinks it depends on what you are looking for

Lovely colours it's false advertising Photo shopping for Marketing no one looks that polished I wish Dior and others would use different aged models up to 80 even no photoshop just normall photos and skin

Hi Lena, I fully agree with you ❤️️ It would be amazing if models were less photoshoped and also if we could see different ages, not just early 20s. Lately, I find that Dior are using too much photoshop on some colors which can be misleading.

Dior specifically created the makeup look for the pale eyeshadows, and yet no blogger has re-created that look. Everyone puts their own spin on it, but the outcome is not great at all. Just follow the look on the model, it is that easy!

Hello, I like editorial makeup looks. No doubt they are pretty to look at. I also respect the creativity of Dior's makeup artists. But the photos on Dior's website are photoshoped like every marketing campaign. After the makeup is done on a 20 -something year old model, the shot is taken with the perfect studio setting and using quite expensive studio lights which we - the bloggers don't have. Then a photoshop retoucher starts working on the photo to make it look even more perfect. A whole team of professionals works to make you like the photo. In our defense, we, the KZfaq content creators are women most of the time not in our 20s and we create makeup looks that we can wear every day. Even though the look you are referring to is pretty, I wouldn't wear it outside. I'm 38 years old, not 20. That heavy mint green liner on the lower lash line won't look good on my eyelids unless I add some filters :) Same goes for the heavy black eyeliner. This can work on 20 year olds. But even if I wanted to recreate it just for fun, the colors don't show the same as on the photoshoped photo. I commented on that in my previous video. They have enhanced some colors.
