Another nice informative video ! I think AAA tow truck drivers carry some charger pack these days. But, if you venture out camping remotely and your battery died with no help then this is a life saver.

Nice unit with plenty of amperage to get the job done!! You need a minimum 400 amps just for a 4 cylinder so this is definitely a good unit. Good video 👍

The big thing for me with these jump starters is longevity. I got the Audew, and it was an absolute champ. Jumped anything I threw at it no problem (I work at a dealership). But then after like 6 months the thing is basically conked out. It will start smaller cars still, but 5+ liter V8's are a no go, even fully charged. This one and the Hulkman look really solid, but still I'm worried about the lifespan. Unfortunately no way to know on these yet, time will tell.

Nice, seems simply enough. Curious, while the unit is not being used, it can retain power for quite some time, or? And, would having it in the car, during the cold season cause it to lose power, too?

On average, if you store it in the car, the battery pack might lose about 20% power after 1 year. Just make it a habit to take it out and charge it once a year.

Hey quick question . I have a 2003 mini cooper . I have balusters on my headlights . So when i start car n it runs for like 10 mins when i turn headlights on it stalls . How can i solve this problem . Thank you for any help .

Looks like the negative lead is much thinner than the positive lead.

Nope, they are both 8AWG fine wire cables. Fine wire means many strands and very flexible

I bought an open box unit off EBAY looks good but noticed it does NOT go to that 1 second boot screen where all panels light up. So probably send back. Every video shows that 1 second thing on power up. Does yours?

Man...that battery in the Pathfinder isn't that old either. Hopefully a fluke.

You are right, the battery is couple months old. Now I don't drive the Pathfinder that much these days. When this happened I know it sat in the garage for over a week. But that still should not have drained the battery that much. I will keep an eye on it and do some testing on the battery when I have time.

It has an override mode for dead batteries ( I e. Less than 8v). Press/hold the power button and light button at the same time for approx 3 sec. It should then put power to the clamps and allow you to start the vehicle.
