I believe it is the natural biome, bacteria that should be in the soil anyway, however due to previous faming operations the soil had been exposed to chemicals and the natural bacteria was killed off. You can collect swamp soil and introduce it to your garden to get the same effect. Some of the worst things you can do to soil are put pesticides in them because it kills the natural bacteria. Food grown in this type of soil tastes so much better. Many people have not tasted such food.

Josh, I hope you are spraying when temperaturss are coolest during the day. When you spray at a high pressure makes a finer mist which could possibly let more spray evaporate in the high summer temperatures. Something else to consider on which kinda of spray tips work best. The regular fan spray or flood tips. Sorry I hope I am not over stepping. The micro nutrients are a great soil builder. I have been using some liquid calcium to help build our pastures ph back up along with rotational grazing. Enjoy your videos and love to share with you also.

Since the nozzles spray at an angle you could say you get a 20 ft swath of spray from those booms. At 4mph you would be able to cover about 9.6 acres an hour. I did not catch how many gallons of mix per acre you were supposed to apply. As someone already suggested, you could test run your actual gallons per minute(or hour) by a staic run of your sprayer with water only. If your tank is graduated you could get that rate in a few minutes, if it weren't, you could mark the water line and run your sprayer for the few minutes and then measure how much it takes to refill the tank thus determining your flow. I hope the product does as advertised.

When the parts come in they will assemble the unit. Then we can pick it up. The process will take aeveral months. I guess they don't need the sale. I know i will find a different machine.

Just a note. Two things to think about. The spray pattern you are trying to achieve, have the height of the boom to have a small over lap. It can be easily set up just using water in your vat. Secondly your random pattern may be ok, but having the loader on the front you can add a bar to it and drag a chain on each end to mark your spare lines. Just some advice from an old cockie - farmer!

fertilizer is just another "pill" to put on the land and in my opinion can be much more destructive than good. Hit the land with fertilizer...destroy the microbes that feed the land....then do it again next season...over and over you become dependent on the local Co-op instead of building soil....we just put a pill on it to make grass turn green. Hopefully SuperSoil does good for us!

I work in cancer research and for the last decade there has been much more attention directed at the human gut biome and our ability to fight off cancer. I feel strongly there is a similar relationship with the biome in the earth from which our food comes from. Thus the health of these cattle is very important. I wish Josh had dairy cattle on these fields too. It would be interesting to collect some data on the quality of the dairy products and their impact on end users.

farmers spread manure all the time but Josh lets his cattle deposit said manure naturally. There is a symbiotic relationship between the gut biome of the cattle and the biome in the soil, it will go back to the cow's gut once they graze off the grass and the cycle will repeat.

Here's my concern with using that type of product. Where do those microbes come from? Are they even suitable for your area? You could introduce a million of those little yipe yipe dogs to the African safari for example.. Some might live but for how long? Do you even know how many of those microbe are still alive after having that bag sitting on your shelf for months? It seems to me that you'd be better served spraying compost or worm tea made from compost and worm castings produced on your farm. At least that way you know the microbes being sprayed are native to your area, suitable for your climate and won't disturb the balance of your local ecosystem.
