Lot's of room to work. That's nice! I can't wait to see a manufacturer adopt a large fin cooling package. I won't have to blow my radiator out every 4hrs if the gap between the fins is large enough to pass dust and debris!!!!

So I wanted to update everyone who is interested. I just went and looked at the Kioti skid steer a few hours ago. I have to say, “It’s a beast”. It looked very well thought out and built. I’m sure it’s about equal to the SVL75-3 in toughness but it just seems a little beefier. I think the way the Kioti Lift arms tie into the rear pivot is better thought out to reduce debris build up. Cab was quiet. The cab would say is equal to the Kubota. Very basic except for one big feature that’s a game changer for many operators. And that’s the fact that in the Kioti you can set it to standard flow or high flow and then dial in the exact flow rate you need to optimize your implement. I run into this problem all the time when shopping for cutters. They might say min flow of 16 GPM and max of 20 GPM. I’m thinking about Kubota and that has a max of 17 GPM so I’d be in range but at the bottom end. So I’ll look at high flow and it says 25 GPM and max of 35 GPM, so I’m still at the bottom range on that. With Kioti I can run to the max on my implements or dial it down if things are getting too hot or I just don’t need all that power at the moment. I think that would save on fuel and extend the life of the attachment. It comes with hydraulic bucket disconnect and led lights which you pay extra for with Kubota. I raised the bucket all the way up and it raised forever. Waaaay up there. Very noticeable difference vs the SVL75 in that department. I think between the SVL75 and the Kioti, the Kioti wins in price and machine capability. My only 2 complaints are that the seat is a mechanical suspension and not air like on the SVL75. But it is a full back seat. I can put in an aftermarket air ride seat for $1,800. The other is that when I’m sitting in the seat. The Kioti is priced $1,000 less than the Kubota SVL65 in my area but financing is 1% higher so the monthly payment is exactly the same. So I’ve to decide if I want the extra size. Or if I should drive the 250 miles to the dealer for this channel and purchase from them and save $7,000. Yeah I think that’s a no brainer. I’m gonna go look at the Kubotas again but I’m pretty much sure I’ll be getting a Kioti. Besides the price, the main selling points are the much higher lift hight over the SVL75 and even the SVL95. And the higher hydraulic flow rates in standard and high. Machine to machine, Kubota really doesn’t have anything on this at all. Not one feature. If you have a Kioti dealer in your area, do your self a favor and at least give it a look. Video doesn’t do it Justice. It’s absolutely beautiful and it’s like a bull dozer. One thing to note. I noticed on this video that may be a downside to this Kioti. It looks like the cab floor is open around the joystick and feet area. It lays down against steel frame and floor. I don’t know if they use any weather seal or anything. This skid steer may suffer from the same complaints as the -2 Kubotas. That’s noise, though it didn’t seem bad but I really need to drive it, and dust intrusion into the cab. I would have much preferred a one price cab with positive cabin pressure like Kubota went to in their -3 series. The Kioti may achieve that if they use a weather seal of some kind. I can’t tell from the video so I guess time will tell as customers start doing ownership reviews. Before I buy I will have to take a closer look or swing by the dealership again next week and ask to see. Unless anyone else reading this can answer that question.

BTW, the floor does open up to access a few components, but the whole cab comes up as a single piece. When you're at the dealership get a 17mm socket and see how the cab comes up! It's pretty clever.

@@kentonequipment4687 I went back today. I looked at the way the cab seals around the steel floor and around the joy sticks. It has a double weather stripping seal all the way around. I think it’s gonna be air tight. I don’t think there will be issues with dust getting in. By the time I’m ready to get one mod next year, I’m sure there will be reviews out and if it’s an issue we’ll know. But the way it’s sealed to the floor, it sure looks like it’s gonna work just fine. Also I wanted to correct something. When I went back today, I actually drove the Kioti down the dealer yard and I could see the cutting edge of the bucket just fine.

Kubota blows this away. Think about your resale value too.
@survivalguyfyi5718
@survivalguyfyi5718 5 ай бұрын
@@zackzander425 : There are things I like better about both. I like Kubota’s engine access to the new 75 better. I also like the larger screen in the cab and the one piece cab on the Kubota better. I also like that the horizontal bar linking the FEL arms at the rear of the machine better because they moved it up high to allow better rear visibility. I like Kioti’s longer Warrantee, higher auxiliary flow, better hydraulic response in the tracks and loader, substantially higher lift height and 10k less purchase price. Yes you’ll likely have better resale value on the Kubota but it’s gonna cost you $10,000 more up front. Resale is a mute point for me because I’m gonna run mine till it’s not worth anything anyway no matter what brand it is. I don’t own either but I have operated both for about 10 minutes each. I drove both making plenty of turns and operated the FELs on both. I liked the responsiveness of the Kioti better and the bucket height was impressive. It seemed to have more hydraulic power in the tracks and loader and the auxiliary specs higher as well. Kioti also seemed beefier to me and I believe it is a few hundred pounds heavier. Maintenance wise, a nod goes to the Kubota. If they were priced the same and offered the same Warrantee, I’d go with the Kubota, but $10,000 more translates to an extra $150 a month on my loan and 2 years less Warrantee. So I wouldn’t say Kubota blows the Kioti out of the water by any stretch. Also, keep in mind, the Kioti is a joint development between Kioti and Hyundai so they put some money into this machine. I respectfully suggest that you test both machines out and then tell me what you think. If you’ve operated the Kubota but haven’t operated the Kioti, you really have no idea. I’ve experienced both and I can say as an informed person, It’s an amazing machine as is the Kubota. My biggest disappointment with the Kioti is that high flow won’t be out for a few more years. That’s fine because I decided on getting an excavator first so that gives me a few years to decide between the two.

I love Kioti and own four of their machines. Here is my issue with the TL750. In my area you can get a Kubota 75-3 with high-flow for the exact same price as the TL750. SVL75-3 is 79k in San Antonio area. The Kioti is 69k. Only diff is the Kioti doesn’t have high flow. But the standard flow is 21.9 so you may not even need high flow. Also, you can get up to a 6 year warranty with the Kioti and only 4 year with the Kubota.

I have a Kioti CK 40 and aftermarket support is almost none. If I should ever need anything major I have to go through Kioti and pay big $ for the Kioti brand parts. Seems there more aftermarket support for the Kubota brand products and obviously domestic brands.

Can the future high flow kit be installed on the current standard flow machine? Or would it be an option from the factory only?
@kentonequipment4687
@kentonequipment4687 7 ай бұрын
I asked a similar question at the last dealer meeting. From what I understand we're about a year out on the Hi-Flow version, and it's going to be a factory only option. This unit has 22gpm standard flow, which is more than enough for 90% of applications for a 74HP class size. The 34GPM available to the high flow unit will be capable of running things that are honestly too large for this machine. Just my opinion.

It was a very simple, very tough machine that gave me a tremendous amount of service for a very reasonable price.

Yeah, I don't think we'd see something like that for a long time, if ever. The Skid Steer market is expanding, but it's moving towards larger machines more than smaller. The heavier machines are so much more capable in lifting power. Kioti has plans to release a larger 95+ HP model (using the engine from the HX) next, and that's going to be a year away at least.

Why did they not do a one piece sealed and pressurized cab 🤦🏻‍♂️
@survivalguyfyi5718
@survivalguyfyi5718 8 ай бұрын
It’s because when the cab is raised, the joystick controlled don’t raise with the cab. Probably saved on cost but there’s also another advantage in that hydraulic repairs that have anything tied into the joysticks will be easier and cheaper as well. I did go back and look at the way it’s sealed. They use a double weather seal on all areas bordering the cab and frame transition. I drove a Kubota SVL75-3 the next day. They both sound about the same noise wise. I couldn’t tell a difference. The hydraulics on the Kioti are definable touchier due to the more powerful pump they are using. It’s not anything you can’t get around. Since it’s all pilot controls, just do smaller movements. I actually prefer the Kioti. When I drive the Kubota the next day it seemed like I had to move the joystick more than I would have thought to get it to do what I wanted.

Kioti is owned by Daedong. Bobcat is owned by Doosan. These are both huge companies from Korea, but they are not the same. The lead product development manager for these units was hired from Bobcat, so you'll see some design cues, but they are NOT the same company. The closest relationship they have is Bobcat buying tractors from Daedong and selling them as Bobcat tractors. I'd generalize the Kioti units as a cross between a Bobcat and a Kubota.

I saw a Hyundai skid steer on you tube. It looks exactly like the Kioti, just yellow and black. Same arms, angles, everything. I have no doubt that this is a Kioti built machine, but it appears to me that Kioti is making skid steers for Hyundai as well. Kinda like Kioti makes Bobcat’s tractors they sell. Have you heard anything about this? If not, I encourage you to look up the Hyundai skid steer on KZfaq. Not knocking Kioti at all. If anything, it’s saying something if Hyundai is buying Kioti skid steers and putting their name on it. They might be adding a few features and jacking the price up but the Kioti I test drive had everything I needed.

@@kentonequipment4687I’m seeing $62,000 for the cabbed Kioti!!!! And you’re getting more standard Hydraulic flow and when the high flow comes out, which you don’t really need these days unless you already own high flow attachments, your getting more high flow. Also, you can set your machine to a certain flow rate to dial in your attachment so you use your hydraulics on an attachment that your machine would send too much flow to otherwise. Finally, I like how open and easily access it is to the engine. That’s gonna make maintenance and repairs real easy. With CAT skid steers, like all DPF systems, the DPF filter needs to be changed at 2500 hours. Well with CAT they put the DPF filter at the front of the engine, as in opposite the rear door. So in order to change it out you have to pull the engine. It’s a $10,000 job!!!! Almost forgot. It also lifts over 37 inches higher than the SVL75-3 and 31.5 inches higher than the SVL97!!! That’s crazy! How do they even do that? I’d say that’s competitive for pricing. I just wonder about resale but they are coming in cheaper than Kubota where I live. I’m looking at an SVL65 with cab, standard flow, wide track and a bucket for $70,000. So $10,000 less but more capability and probably less resale. Probably looking at 76k-78k for the SVL75-3 so comparing apples to apples Kioti is 16K-18K cheaper. That’s pretty significant. That lift height and hydraulic flow is insane.

I just checked my area in Central Texas. The Kioti TL750 is $69,000 here with standard flow. The SVL75 is $79,000 with high flow. Keep in mind, Kioti’s standard flow is higher than Kubotas standard flow so I may not need high flow on a Kioti. Also, Kioti’s Warrantee is better. Kubota’s is 2 years with an option to extend another 1 or 2 years. Kioti’s is 3 years with an option to extend another 3 years. As far as resale value goes, if you plan on keeping the machine for a long time like me, either one won’t be worth much by the time I’m ready to sell it. That’s just my opinion. And, we don’t know what the resale will be on this machine. It’s a heavy duty construction machine and not a hobby tractor so it may hold it’s value well. It will have be successful in sales and hold up over time. One thing that makes me cautious of the Kubotas is the fuel injector issues they’ve been having. I don’t know if that’s been fixed. Haven’t heard anything about it. Hopefully these Kioti’s roll out with no issues. I’m about 6 months out from buying so that gives me a little time to see how reliable they are I hope. All that said, the engine they use is all ready proven. As far as everything else goes, it’s real basic like the Kubota. Not all the computers and stuff to go wrong like Bobcat and others. You can raise the cab and see how the hydraulics are ran and you can see clear out the back of the machine from the front with the cab raised so engine access is good. I looked at the way the pivot arms are tied in. I like it. Great access to repair cylinders and clean the machine.
