Thanks for watching our videos. We include all things to do with motorhomes, campervans, van conversions, caravans and the great outdoors. We mainly tour the UK and camp around 80 nights per year in our 2021 IH Motorhomes N-680 CRL luxury VW Crafter van conversion. We offer advice, tips and tricks, review campsites and associated products or services. We also occasionally make videos about other trips we take without the motorhome.

The warden says they regularly go in the water when it’s warm. The donkey don’t, they drink from the dog bowls provided near the buildings 🤣🤣 Trev

It’s a really natural campsite with no pitch markers and loads of space to choose your own spot. Beautiful setting for camping 😃👍🏻 Trev

It was a thrill to see the ponies happy and free to roam on the campground with confidence and time to cool off in the water. We were lucky to be there just at the right time to enjoy their fun 😀 Trev

There were lots of ponies and donkeys although I wasn’t able to film the donkeys as they seemed to be shy and only come out in the early morning 😃 Trev

Thanks Mike, I used the Sony ZV1 straight out of the box with no external mic 🎤 It’s a bit wobbly in terms of picture stabilisation but it’s a good all round camera. GoPro and iPhone would also work and have some features that the Sony doesn’t 😀 Its all about luck at the end of the day an I thought of additional things I could have done after the opportunity had gone 🤷🏼♂️ Take care and see you at the Norfolk Show ?? 👍🏻 Trev

Another great video Trev especially the horses playing in the water the site reminds me of Kelling Heath in Norfolk 40 years ago before it became regimented and commercial

Thanks Tony, there’s a section of the Hermanfest video that shows more of the Roundhill Campsite which is full of natural beauty and is not regimented. It’s a pity more campsites are not like this. It’s a fabulous change to be off grid with no marked pitches and full choice of where to park up in the forest 😀 Trev

That was amazing footage, I loved watching them on the video splash and lie in the pond. I missed so much and I was there. I’ve watch a few vlogs of the weekend. I had no idea there had been an ice cream van or that the horses were right next to Madge at one point. Take care Gill

How beautiful😍I've always loved horses, and am blessed to have owned several. We are not home for long enough now to be able to keep them, so let our last 2 'be free' on a reserve. I miss them still when we are home as the property just feels empty and lonesome. Thanks so much for sharing these beauties, Trev.

I remember that programme. I used to sit and watch it with my mum in the 1960s. Who would have thought that 50 years on we would be comparing such beautiful places with things I saw in my childhood on a black and white telly. 😃 I’ll take your complement thank you 👍🏻😊 Trev

Hi Trev, oh wow! That was a sight to behold. Love horses and so nice to see them enjoying the water. The young foal was a cutie pie, I wonder who looks after them as they are in really good condition x

They all looked healthy and were happy for us to stand and watch. They are probably used to being near people but we gave them plenty of room to wander around. It was a joy 🙂 Trev

Oh my gosh! That is so awesome!! And this is right at the campground? Love watching them splash about. We’re you allowed to feed them? Thinking since they’re pretty tame that you may have been able to give them a carrot or two. I’d love to go to the east coast and see the wild ones running along the beach. Kind of a bucket list item for me. And there they go. Guess bath time was over lol.

It was beautiful to watch. The wardens discouraged feeding or petting the ponies as they are free roaming and wild. We are also told not to leave food in the awning or any trash outside in case the ponies and donkeys help themselves 😃 Trev
