Spotted Joe had a problem with his lights did you do a repair video. After getting off the ferry in Sicily right Indicator light sounded to fast on the motorhome. Parked at service station tools and spare light bulbs out half an hour later fixed.

It’s fairly easy to change a lamp on the back of a motorhome but it’s not a bad idea to do a repair video. I’ll ask Joe if he’ll do it with me 😃 Trev

It’s a lovely spot around Meriden it’s about an hour from here to say it’s near to the airport and Solihull it’s quiet over there some lovely places over that way If you are up again try the ice cream at Henley in Arden and also packwood house and baddesley Clinton NTs are not far away and well worth seeing and the boat at Catherine de barnes is a nice pub! If you know your motorbikes Meriden was the home of triumph! Great to see everyone having fun and enjoying everyone’s company great to see all the vans at the end! All the best to you all Daniel

It was a struggle to make this video in the van last week due to my laptop playing up and I wasn’t really very happy with the results. Trev, you might want to tell “CADAC Joe” his offside rear brake light isn’t working and the near side brake light appears to be on constantly! Wouldn’t want the Police to pull him over….. lovely looking site but I think it’s a “2 dog” max per pitch unfortunately for me.

Thanks for spotting his problem with the lights. It’s something that has been ongoing and has not been fixed by a local workshop. We had to do some repairs whilst in Scotland to try to resolve it. I believe you are correct about the 2 dog rule. It’s interesting how some campsites are tightening up their rules with dogs. I recently found a site that was charging £3.50 per night per dog ! Outrageous but clear they don’t like dogs 😳 Trev

@@PoshcatsCamping , an “intermittent fault” is the worst of all to sort out isn’t it? I suspected it was something you were aware of but wanted to be sure 😉. I wonder exactly what they were providing our “furry family members” with for £3.50 per night !! It’s a well used tactic in the commercial world, if you don’t want certain work or, in this instance, dogs just put the price up to a level which no one would pay….

5 years on and we’ve just invested in one of these, the Screen House 4 Pro. Going to use it instead of our main awning on short trips and going to put it to test on the Isle of Wight next week. Nice bit of kit 👍👍 Mike

Ah yes, the new pro model is much better than ours. The sides are attached and this helps when it’s windy. I don’t think you’ll de disappointed as it’s a great piece of kit for the money. Just take your time at the octopus stage when setting up or packing away, it will find its natural resting place without any pushing or shoving 😃👍🏻 Trev

Beautiful country park and beach. The little castle at Kidwelly and the former industrial areas al hold interesting Welsh history. Watch out for the 20mph roads. It’s very confusing and even those that live there say that’s the case. 😃 Enjoy Pembrey, we have great memories and a return visit is well overdue. 😃👍🏻🚐

What a gorgeous site. Looked perfect. Market Deeping is a nice little town - the Bull is a great pub. Ha that lock up - we have one in our village although ours has a pointy roof. Not surprised you like Invercoe. - we loved it there. Love watching your posts on the trip guys. Looks absolutely fantastic!

What a gem of a site, absolutely immaculate. I'm really looking forward to seeing the islands as I've never been so can't wait to see them. On our recent tour of Scotland we had booked two nights at Keith holiday Park. I had watched one of your videos where you stopped there. Unfortunately the site had to close so our booking was cancelled which meant we had to make alternative arrangements ( an extra night at Stonehaven & an extra night at Torvean. I agree wholeheartedly with you on distance with regards to reaching Scotland, we are Somerset based and like to break up the journey by staying in cl or similar sized sites on the way. Safe travels.

Oh what a shame about Keith Holiday Park. The couple there were lovely and so enthusiastic about their future plans for the site. I have looked into this and it appears there was a problem with the previous owners and the transfer of the old website. The new website is keithcaravanpark.com/ so it was not closed and could be contacted by phone or via Facebook. We will post our video from the islands as soon as we can. Being on the move with poor internet is not ideal but we will definitely have plenty of footage to share 👍🏻🚐💙 Trev

Hello Trev and Sue, the Country Park looked a lovely place to have a walk and a cup of tea. Lovely Campsite and CL, so tranquil lovely in the sunshine. Really enjoyed your walk around and very informative. A lovely walk to the river. The Heron in the background nice that you can walk into the village. The coffee shop looked cute, Wow! Looks gorgeous, thanks for the video. Stamford nearby is beautiful for walking around and quite upmarket, Peterborough not so nice. It’s a shame they don’t have a toilet. Our motorhome is brand new and we have a rule of doing no number twos in it 😂Lol

Good day Poshcats. I noticed that to get on to your hard standing pitch you had to go over some grass...surely that could give a problem if it was very wet....or was the grass just for show and it was solid underneath. ?.

The ground was fairly well drained and firm. Being an ex nursery I believe the owners have a passion for keeping the grassy lawns pristine. They know what they are doing when it comes to growing and treating the plants. They ask that the cars are parked off the main fields, rather like Bath Chew Valley does. The field is far less cluttered and it reduces wear and tear too 😃👍🏻 Trev

Good to see your latest vlog and the steps you took to rectify problems. Lost keys!! I must admit that it's always a worry. When we were with family in Australia last year my wife Nicola bought me a leather "Man bag" which were commonly used. This enabled me to secure keys, wallet etc and know that I have it over my shoulder at all times. It also has a small leather strap to secure my baseball cap too so I don't leave it anywhere. I bought a second one last October at the NEC. Not to everyone's taste but that's not a problem for me. Take care. Sid and Nicola, Rugby

The weather has been shocking everywhere we haven’t had as much rain here in West Midlands jn a long time there has been so much flooding up here I don’t blame you taking the step off it seems a very substantial size and I understand what you mean about being close to the ground I am surprised in some ways why they fit them Well done on your repair of the valve it’s good you can get spares easily and he’s good for the road! Great to see Ethel and good news she could be fixed Why not invest in AirTags Trev for your keys and wallet it’s been a game changer for me I always lose mine 😂 you can track them on your iphone thank goodness for Sue and keeping a set of keys! Sue looked busy photo bombing in background 😂😂 Sorry to hear about the power bank I bought one on your recommendation and it’s been really useful shame about the attitude of the company glad you have got a new one I wouldn’t be without one now! Hello Trevor 🙋♂️. Hope life is treating you good !! Just watching your challenges with your “wing nut valve” there and noted the “stiffness” when trying to turn them. Next time you are down on your knees under the van - take a jar of: Vick or Vaseline and rub some of the jar contents it just under the neck of the WN. It will definitely allow you to open and operate the valves easier. The goo in the jars has a good 🥶 freezing point and will keep your valve supple in all weathers. WD 40 is also a good lubricant for these cheap Chinese plastic valves that these manufacturers are using nowadays !! Thanks 🙏 Mind how you go. James ✌️🫶

Hi trev, really enjoyed your ramble he he, I remember when you had a scrape with the step in Scotland, good idea to take it off it it is causing problems, like you say you can always replace it needed. The keys!!, I wonder where they disappeared to. Glad you have another set now, ive just said to Tony, do you know where our spare set are and he has just dangled them in front of me. We still love our Bluetti, will be interesting to watch your review of the new one. The little power bank looks good shame the first one has suddenly stopped working. The steps can be a nuisance, if you wanted the permanent step back you could always get bigger wheels to give the van more height from the ground. But of course, that doesn’t come cheap either. Good update. Em 💜

Really interesting video. A couple of questions from a motorhome newby. 1/ when entering france did you have to prove where you were going or staying or for how long. 2/ i flew into Gibraltar in feb and had to jump through hoops to get in to spain. I had to show a return flight, proof of accommodation ect. The spanish actually refused quite a few off our flight entry until they could show proof. So the question is. Getting out of spain obviously you had to have your passport stamped. But to get back in. Did you have to show proof. Sorry for long questions. My wife and i are hoping to enter spain through Santander and travel around for 6 weeks or so.

Hi, we have used Eurotunnel Le Shuttle several times and never been asked where we are going and for how long when passing through French Passport control. When we entered Gibraltar on foot from Spain, we had our passports stamped and returned the same day. There were no problems at all. We noticed a father and son who lived on Gibraltar arguing with officials about the number of times they had been back and forth. I think they were suspicious of their activities. But we have never experienced any problems 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev
