One thing that I would like to see is being able to smoke at 140 or 150. When making pepperoni sticks, summer sausage, or kielbasa the lower temp starting and gradually increasing makes for a better product.

After having a pellet grill for a while now, I’m really leaning hard into the idea of a vertical smoker. It makes more sense. You can smoke more, these have bigger hoppers, and take up less room. Plus the rollers on this is clutch. I’d love to smoke more than just one brisket at a time and I’d love to test one of these out.

I would love more videos of the features and a walk around showing the product in full detail. I’m no Malcom Reed or Tom Horseman but I am willing to offer my services GG to do just that. From what I saw it looks great.

I would love a more detailed look at the mammoth with things like how the ash is going to be cleaned out and do you just take the bottom tray and dump the grease when you're done? Does this have a pellet dump on the hopper? I own the chimp and wish to upgrade to a bigger unit so I've been eyeing the silverbac but since I'd only be using it for smoking since I own both a Weber and a Blackstone for grilling purposes now this has me intrigued

There is a pellet dump, its a spring-loaded door with a gasket at the rear and the bottom of the hopper. For cleaning the ash, simply remove the circular deflector and you have easy access to your burn pot at the bottom of the changer.

The videos says over 50+hrs at 250 degrees, but the faqs say more than 48hrs. I might be nitpicking, but I think it's warranted at 1,000 dollars.

Watch our recent video. We run it for over 50 hours at 250. Variables like ambient temperature and wind can change this time.

How many racks can I fit in total? And size of rack please

11 racks total if you take out the water pan. 10 if you keep the water pan in. The racks are 22.5" wide x 16.6" deep

@@m9hrdad I'm about 40 minutes from North Dakota And there's a town literally 5 minutes after I cross the border and they have many parcel services. I drive across and pick it up

I love grilla, but they missed the price point at 1000....pitboss 7series has double walled cabinet, 1815sqin, 55lb hopper, ability to smoke down to 100deg and is $750....I own the chimp, kong, and am going to buy the Silverbac and the primate soon, but the mammoth needs to drop 100, preferably 150, before I'd be a buyer....don't mind paying more for quality, and grilla is quality, but imo $1000 is an overshot....may be a buyer during a July 4th discount or something

Pit boss is crap compared to a Grilla. I'll happily spend the extra money to get a great product rather than a good product.

@@kevinhallin8570 I am 1000% in agreeance...I'm a grilla owner and have turned many many friends and coworkers onto them...the chimp is 100 more than a traeger tailgater...I'd pay that difference anyday. My point is the copperhead 1300 is 500, the 7 series is 750...850-900 should be the price point here imo...just out of curiosity, where do you think that price point is compared to other vertical smokers in the industry, too high (obviously not), too low (good or great deal?) Or just right?

@@franquil85conn when I 1st saw the Mammoth, I was thinking $800-900, but I'm not outraged by $1000. What I love about Grilla is their commitment to their products. I own an original Silverbac. Over the years Grilla upgraded the product and I have been able to upgrade mine in any way possible. I have a wifi controller, full stainless steel parts and a hopper dump that did not exist on my original smoker. No other company cares about your smoker after you bought it the way Grilla does.

@@kevinhallin8570 definitely agree there, their customer service has been amazing over the years I've owned the chimp and year that ive owned the kong. Actually came over after being unhappy with a pitboss copperhead XL and the customer service nightmare. Id never scoff if someone paid that price, but I think it's kinda like people paying MSRP for vehicles...fine if you do it, but there is money that can come off of that and we all win

@@franquil85conn I would definitely love it to be cheaper but it seems to have all the things I've been looking to upgrade from my Silverbac. Being able to add wood chips above the fire pot, only camp chef is doing something like that and it gives us the ability to add a stronger smoke when we want it.

Hahahaha ok that's a good one. Mammoth more of an Elephant. Orangutan I will see orange/ginger color. Grauer's will also be a good one. Mandrel will be in orangutan category.
