You could use one of those glass make-up/cosmetology practice heads instead of a real face, it wouldn’t squish like a real face and it it’s prob a bit more sanitary 😆

Maybe you could just use a silicone mold and make a negative of the face where you could pour chocolate inside after ist washed.there is body friendly silicone afterall.

Only problem with that is that It wouldn't really look like anyone, It could still work as a very basic starting point though.

I don’t think sanitation is a problem. he only touched the icing sugar, and even the surface layer of that came off when he lifted his head up, and the remaining icing sugar was removed anyway.

I was looking for this comment. The cornstarch would have to be packed down and levelled. If you were to use someone face, you would probably have to apply even firm pressure onto the back of their head though to try and get a better mould. 🤷🏼‍♀️

At first I thought you were making Van Gogh. How you can tell I'm an art enthusiast, and not a royalty enthusiast. Edit: at least if you make Van Gogh, you'd only have to make one ear lol. Me- I'm making a Prince Harry cane Fiance- Why does it look like The Rock? Me- Because in Anne's tutorial she said you need to make The Rock first, then remove his skin and mix it back up and it will look like Harry's skin tone! Fiance- 😶😶😶😶 Riiight. Have fun!

Thank you so much. My husband watched this video & the guitar cake video with me. He’s become quite the fan. Our two daughters love your video channel too. There’s something for whole family. Btw, our youngest (23; oldest is 32, soon to turn 33) absolutely love-loves your videos exposing fake baking/cooking/crafts videos. She loves them so much that she is able to spot the dishonest ones. I’m proud that she’s started reporting them to KZfaq. Awww. This was fun seeing your son help out. If anyone is still looking for a hack, I JUST watched another video from the Sugar Geek channel where she demonstrates the way to use her chocolate skull mold that she designed especially for a bust cake. The same premise as this but very simple to use and accurate. I haven't looked on the website yet but the video is more recent than this one so it might be a simpler and cost effective fix 😊

I love the contrast of the final line you always say at the end of each of your videos (Make it a great week by doing something kind for others) as opposed to other channels which say something like 'do something to make you happy.' I remember running around the streets with a face of icing sugar and pretending to be a ghost..... I never thought of using said face and icing sugar as molding guides. Very creative!!!

Wow!😲 I have seen many fabulous cakes in other videos or programmes but it's totally different, I mean I have never seen such a great amazing sculptured cake....OMG!!!
