The earlier part of the video shows that it makes you unable to attack and thus ruins my whole build. I knew someone would think this was a gotcha lol.

Im only 18 minutes in and boy this game is tickling everything I like about Slay The Spire yet somehow feels unique at the same time. Def grabbing this one!

There's something so charming about calling the enemies "baddies" hahaha. And the game seems to be a work of love given how many of the mechanics/classes were made. As a big fan of dungeon crawlers like Grimrock or Etrian Oddysey AND of deckbuilders; this seems right up my alley! I like this new take on the Slay the spire multiple path system where you're actively choosing which tunnel you go through. Kinda makes me wish it would actually procedurally generate a dungeon (or a dungeon mode where you have to backtrack and maybe even map it like etrian). My only piece of criticism would be the interface in general. Legibility and polish goes a long way for pixel-art/minimalist designs and some of the fonts/icons/symbols/numbers could be better in my opinion

Representing information was most definitely a challenge with this project. I will be the first to admit it’s still not perfect! Funny, your idea regarding actually exploring a physical dungeon with twists and turns was a stretch goal initially, but as the other game systems grew I didn’t want to open the can of worms that was retroactively balancing to account for exploring the dungeon in that format. I do still dream about what it’d look like if I did go gung-ho down that path early on! Thanks for the feedback ❤

Would love to see u return to this game, maybe on draft mode? With diffrent classes builds ect... the game looks great and it seemse u had a blast playing it. Great job as always 👏

Seems fun. Would watch more. I like watching you on action games mostly, because strategy games tend to be less fun when people think, or appear to make a bad choice (I say appear because sometimes it is correct but viewer misses some fact).
