NEW Hyundai i20N, too weak? Dyno proof!

With the Hyundai i20N we got ourselves a new showcar. As its bigger brother, the i30N, did an amazing job we are really curious how the i20N will perform.

I would say the power bump would be around 30hp & 90nm of torque. Which would give it a nice increase. Looking forward to the next video. As the i20N looks to be my next new car purchase..

If the Fiesta ST mk7 is any indication of what a good 1.6 4 pot can achieve, you can expect around 320HP max. Maybe the i20N can do better though, I hope so. I ordered one too =D

@@MsGRUBY666 in Belgium you have at least waiting 4 to 6 months for the i20N, you must fast order because they are very limited. I drove him in France but he is for me to uncomfortable with those springs. Otherwise for a 1.6 he is superfast. For myself I am a fan of the Fiesta ST with the possibility to ask a "stage 1" under factory guarantee. 😁

Nice little hot hatch. Personally I hate red so the skirt trim is a big turn off but that’s an easy fix if I really wanted one. Great to see the Koreans brining it to the Germans. Great for consumers.

If its the EXACT same engine as the one in my Kia Proceed 2013 GT, Then i can tell you, with better Spark Plugs and Coils + a better flowing exhaust. It can Reliably make 290 HP which mine makes atm. Still experimenting with it tho. Needs downpipe so all the Cats are gone! Greetings from Denmark!

You are not making 290 hp it doesn’t work like the stock turbo is going to be way out of breath

@@GoGoggansGo Stock turbo is actually decent in it. Same as in a vw 1.8t just bigger and better internals. Mine doesnt show signs of being out of breath YET. But when it does ill just have to make it bigger or swap it for another one. Not my first rodeo and where i work we specialize in turbos anyways so i have the tools i need for it.

Power isn’t everything. The i20n stock wrecks a Ceed GT even if it’s tuned round a track. It’s not the same engine anyway. It’s quite different as it’s updated.

Just a weird review especially when he does the comparisons. It's an accepted standard now that compact hatches come with less than 2litre engines ever since we had turbos. Or is this guy still driving a Clio RS 2?

Weak? 😂 Weird video. If it had as much power as bigger hot hatches it wouldn’t cost 10-20k less would it! 🤦🏻‍♂️ And 6.2 to 100kph is not weak by anyone’s standards in a car which cost me less than 27k!
