I bought the Lancome eye tint in shade Desert Sand, and have worn it twice so far on my eyes. My initial impression is that it has a decent staying power (creasing is often a problem for me but not with this one) and the best method of application was to dot on the eyelid with the applicator, then immediately dab all over the eyed lid with a finger, and do one eye at a time. It's a color I would not wear on my cheeks, but looks like I am not missing out in the blush department 😂 Hot lava was a very pretty shade on you!

I definitely agree with you that this does not crease and for people who have tremendous trouble with these type of shadows greasing, this is definitely the solution. But it’s a fussy little fellow. That being said, it did create a pretty look. Just super difficult to use on cheeks, as you know.

Ok so I’m going to poke my head above the parapet and say I actually rather like the Lancôme eye shadows! I have two mattes and one (not metallic )but sparkly light colour which I wanted to use as a base. My personal preference on my crepey ageing lids is matte one and done. Yes you do have to work quickly and I only use my finger to smudge and if I can be bothered use a little powder shadow to go over the edges but I don’t find them very harsh anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sally! I am beyond happy to see this report from you. This is why we have a community so that we can have all of the opinions. I have to tell you. It did not crease all evening and it really stayed looking pretty. It was just so fussy to work with that it frustrated me. Have you tried yours on the cheeks?

To be honest I haven’t tried it on my cheeks because I’m scared I’ll end up with two splotches! As you discovered it dries really quickly 😳 so I might try mixing it with a little foundation just to satisfy my own curiosity. Far too much faff for everyday!

I ordered those réphe brushes you recommended! I haven’t used them yet, but I am pretty excited to get them out soon! As for the reviews in this video… I was looking forward to that Lacome tiny 😢 Thank you for saving me from wasting my money 😅 I am not one to usually use just one color eyeshadow, so it doesn’t seem like it’s for me. BTW, the more that i have used that Westman Atelier lipstick, the more that i have disliked it. The Merit mattes have been great though. There are not nearly enough good lipsticks without perfume in them that i can join in this "canceling" thing!

Merit is the best. They’re just beautiful. The WA is OK but I find myself feeling like I need to fight for its value and that’s ridiculous since it’s just a lipstick after all. And the merit I have nothing bad to say about

Hi Rebecca! Thank you for testing out these new products. I predict Lancôme’s finicky Idole Tint liquid will be included in a bunch of Holiday Advent kits. I am curious about the Ilia Skin Rewind stick - the Merit is too thick for me, the Westman Atelier emphasizes my pores and the entire TF line has been removed from my local Sephora; so I hope that the Ilia stick will work for me. A brief mention of the Milk lip oil - I don’t see the point - another promising one for Advent kits.

There’s absolutely no point in the milk product. And, as I admitted in the video, and I should be embarrassed to say this but it’s true, I only bought it so that I can include it in my lip oil round up and make sure that I tried to get all the major players but there’s no point to the product. That is hilarious what you say about the Lancome and you are entirely correct. What a strange product that serves no true purpose other than big promises and no pay off.

Hi lovely Rebecca !! The stick foundation looks nice 😊 but totally agree with you , Tom Ford stick foundation is the best . I really like the colour of the Lancôme eye tint so would be nice to find a Dupe as it looks like a lot of effort to get it to preform. Lip gloss is pretty and definitely with the lip liner make your lips look fuller . Thanks for another great review ❤🤗

I was wondering why I couldn’t find your channel in my subscription feed this morning… this is happening to you, as well as Michelle Wang’s channel that I also follow. Definitely won't be getting the finicky Lancôme eyeshadow and the colourless Milk lip oil, so thank you for saving me money!! 😂 I'm curious to know: when you applied the Lancôme on your cheeks, did it lift or move the foundation? I think this stick foundation is going to be your perfect Goldilocks not too hot not too cold! I think you will really like it. Regarding the Lancome product, it eventually did lift the product underneath only because I had to scrub it onto my face. Ha ha

Considering the ilia foundation . The merit slid off my face and had poor wear time. I found it better as a concealer. . So I now wonder if that’s an attribute of stick foundation ?

I worry that if the merit slid off your face and that is kind of the stickiest one of those three… That the Ilia would definitely slip off your face. The best one is the Tom Ford but I do prefer the ilia second.

You are so kind. I actually took a super cheap mirror from Amazon that was low enough to be out of the way of the camera mostly and then I just bought some sticky back floral wallpaper and applied it to the back. So it’s basically homemade. ❤️

I think the WA really shows pores and I have not, unfortunately, tried the louboutin. But I think this one is going to be a good middle ground for people and a much more affordable price

Your lips look great!!! They look so plump! This lip oil was not on my radar at all (Milk/Melt never is 😂). But the chocolate and pink didn’t look different at all. I think your lip liner was doing the heavy lifting-but it’s super shiny and pretty! It’s nice it was nourishing, too! I’m looking forward to your lip oil review!!! (My trick for matte lipsticks is to dot a bit -not swipe- the YSL Candy Glaze across my bottom lip then smack my lips together. It doesn’t change the matte lip to be super shiny, but it adds a little moisture and lasts a long time) Okay, I know the Lancôme was super fussy and weird, but that shade looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING on your eyes! (Once you put a lot on and didn’t blend it).

Lisa! That’s my issue with the Lancome as well. It really was a pretty look and it did not crease. I wore it probably for 12 hours total, even after the video was over and it did not ever crease. But it’s such a strange little product. I just can’t recommend it with my heart. The milk was definitely helped by the lip liner and, let’s be honest, you could use any glass for that. I agree with your YSL trick with Matt lipstick. We just need some thing that adds a little bit of movement.. By the way, I have bought two new Hair tools for us to try as a community. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Honestly

@@LisaF_ I am so excited to try it but this could be really bad. And it will be caught on camera which is perhaps even worse. My daughters friend has one and I asked her how she liked it and she said it has caught her hair too many times so now she just uses it as a wand and doesn’t turn on the twirling factor. So things are not looking good already.

i will try that new Ilia foundation stick but the one that i like best so far is the Bobbi Brown. I like the Merit but would never use it as a foundation - it seems to me very similar to the Tom Ford CONCEALER stick, not his foundation stick! i actually do not think that the vast majority of "clean beauty" products have short shelf lives (of less than a year), and i doubt that this Ilia product will last less than a couple of years despite what is stated. I would like to hear what Vic Casale told you about this topic.

Lisa!!!! Vic said the short shelf life is basically lazy chemistry. It’s that organic and inorganic oil. And if they’re using an inorganic oil with a short shelflife… That’s made for kind of quick prettiness. I’m paraphrasing obviously but there’s a lot of those oils that are easy to impress. They look really really good but the shelflife on them is known to be short and they go rancid very easily so he was basically implying that it’s super lazy of them to go that route

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty The only suspicious ingredient that I see in the Ilia stick is the squalane. Sometimes products with squalane in them smell absolutely terrible after less than a year - I'm thinking especially of the Merit highlighter stick. Other times that doesn't happen with squalane. Based on my queries to companies, I now believe that when the squalane is derived from sunflower seed oil (rather than olive oil or sugar cane), it is very unstable and goes bad fast. So I wonder if that is what is in the ilia stick? How i would love to be able to talk to Vic about all this stuff!

Sorry for my naïveté but is there a difference between cream and stick foundations? I always assumed the stick foundation was a cream just in a different form. Trying to decide if I should try the Ilia especially since I would likely apply it with a brush as I do the MOB. Thoughts?

@@jenniferroth6826 TOTALLY the same, just different application. Balm foundations are usually in a pan, like the MOB but that calls itself a cream which is often in tube form. It's that old "Tomato, Tomatoe, Potato, Patatoe" thing haha.

You are too sweet! The eye product is a definite no for me. It’s so pretty in the tube. The Illa product looks nice. I have never tried any stick foundation other than Tom ford which is my absolute favorite. I think the Illa wore well. Very nice. But it a no for me. I forgot I bought a Merit stick until you mention it. Never opened it. I love the Tom ford so much I don’t mind paying the $90. Now, which the price increase 😊

You’re right. That Tom Ford stick foundation used to be more… Affordable. I hesitate to use the word affordable ha ha. But once you’ve tried the Tom Ford complexion stick, there is no need to look elsewhere

On the Milk oil/gloss, did you find you got that white sticky stuff in the corners of your mouth from it? I thought I saw that in the video, which I have NEVER seen happen to you with any other lip product. That would be a no go for me! The Ilia looks okay, but I don’t need another foundation for a decade! I really like more coverage from my foundations, stick or other. I just gave away ten different tinted moisturizer, skin tint . . .products. I’m becoming more discerning in my old age (I’ll be 60 Erev Purim)!

You know what they say, 60 is the new 30 so, for you we’re gonna say 60 is the new 20. You get to do everything all over again. Actually, I’m making 60 sound even better, aren’t I? Ha ha. Who wants to do it all again! Getting picky just means more self-assurance. 60 years worth of self-assurance and some hamantaschen!!!!!!!!!!! You need a candle in the mun flavor!!!!!!! Yum!!!!!!!! Regarding the milk product, I think I just kept applying it and applying it it goop up in the corners but that means it definitely has the capability of doing that. Bless their little hearts, that milk product is just not necessary.

Who is surprised you broke out from Supergoop?The name is telling- Goop.. ugh! It is gross and greasy! Ty Rebecca!🎉🎉🎉😮 Milk Makeup doesn't really interest me and these lip products are ok but scents ...no Ty!! I have Merit , TF and just purchased one from Gee (may I suggest you check out both Ger and Make Makeup? I'd be really interested in what you think!!😊😊😊; but hate to ask you to spend more money!😮😂). What really bothers me about clean makeup is that you are forced to basically use that product straight for six months! I would feel so constricted especially if I had several clean foundations! /rant over. Ahh!! I am so sorry about the Supergoop! The Lancôme is such a pretty shade but I don’t want to work so hard for an eye look! You did look pretty at the end of the day!❤ I think I will pass on everything today-thank you so much for trying all these products and giving great reviews💕💕

I don’t know what to make of all the clean beauty. People like mob do it correctly but Dior gives it a bad name. And it’s tough to recover from a bad name. Exactly. If it’s the only foundation you ever use then you’ll be fine but for none of us is that the case. I agree with you that the final look was actually really nice but I still can’t wholeheartedly recommend these products except for thecomplexion stick which is lovely but has a very short shelflife.

I want to try the Ilia stick, which I don't need, really. I still have my Tom Ford stick and I agree it's the best. I keep reading rumors it might be discontinued, so it would be nice to have a backup. I hope the rumors aren't true. Expensive, yes, but it's so good. I don't understand why KZfaq unsubscribes people. I subscribe to many channels and was annoyed to find that all of my subscriptions had vanished from my Amazon Fire tablet KZfaq, which I prefer over my phone because of its larger screen. The weird thing is, I'm still subscribed to everything on my phone. I wonder if that makes any difference to the channels I subscribe to. I have to resubscribe to my favorite channels on my Fire, which will be a pain since I need to sign in and get a new password. I'll eventually do that so I can Like and Comment on the tablet, but it makes me mad KZfaq did that. Why???

They tell me everyone is still subbed but then, over DM, I'll do an experiment with a viewer and they will tell me they are going to re-subscribe and then, ding, I watch the number move up one in my analytics.
