After a quick trip to the Cabelas store in Sidney, Nebraska I now have a new optic on the M77. Short story...this thing is a laser beam. If you listen closely, you will hear an impact. I just didn’t hear it at the time.

Swipez Down in the upper 30s. I’m a desert rat. That’s cold to me. 😉

If the money were the same, would you prefer the 50mm?

A larger tube diameter is always better for light gathering but there is no free lunch in physics. The larger diameter comes with the obvious penalty of increased weight. For this particular rifle I wanted light weight to make it easier to pack around.

You need a pop screen or a wind cover for your microphone. I’d like to hear your thoughts on the scope, but the crackling wind is twice as loud as your voice, and it’s beyond obnoxious.

Depending on the reticle and time of year you buy it $500-$700

Use a deadcat cover for your mic. The wind is too much of a distraction to watch the entire video. I'm sure the content was relevant but not if we can't understand it.

TexasSportsman Filming with an IPhone. A better camera setup and external microphone are forthcoming to mitigate that very issue. Thank you for watching.

@@Reno17 You are not the audience. Besides I am NOT the only one who made a comment about using something to reduce the wind noise.
