When Eddie believes he is on a winning streak, he goes missing while on a gambling spree and comes home with a racing dog he believes will deliver a big payoff at the track in this 94th episode of the Leave it to Beaver revival series that debuted as the first of two back-to-back new episodes April 16, 1989.
On the Roll, in which June, Mary Ellen, Gertrude, and a police detective all try to mimic Eddie's laugh, is the 19th episode of the third and final season under the new title of The New Leave it to Beaver on Superstation TBS Network (fourth season overall) and featuring most of the original cast of Leave it to Beaver, including Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow - the first season of 26 commercial-free episodes when the series was called Still the Beaver was on The Disney Channel from November 1984 - December 1985.
