To be fair though, the G7 is a really good camera (and relatively cheap). Lighting>> camera though

I was just browsing KZfaq for some example footage from the G7, and your video is by far the best one I've come across! Good exposure and colors, and the focus looks spot-on in many of these shots! Not to mention, the choice of shots and editing really make this short piece shine. Well done!

Just got a G7 few weeks ago been learning how to use it. The kit lens that came with it is the 14-42mm have you tried that one? I have only made 2 videos and there in 4k, is better to shoot in 4k or do you think 1080 is about the same quality?? Your video is amazing.

And honestly 1080p does the job. Uploading to KZfaq they compress your video anyways. They used to let you upload 4k but noe I believe the highest is 2k.

@@Sneaky-Sneaky no because you can only shoot in 30 fps in 4k ,in 1080p it's 60 fps, you can slow it ! So shooting in 1080p is Much better !

Love your video. I use a Lumix G85. I have the 25mm 1.7 too. Great lens but the autofocus is terrible on it. I just ordered the G9 and hope that it fixes that. Also have the 12-35mm 2.8 and 35-100mm 2.8. Both excellent lenses. If you haven’t tried them the 35-100mm is really really good. Any how love the shots you did. Best low light video I’ve seen yet.

that was fun. i love shooting the midway at night...love your slo-mo shots too..as you might know as a consumer we are marketed too 24/7 with the latest and greatest. even though this camera has 4k i prefer 1080p/i because it looks fine and their is way more support for HD,less space it takes upon your heard drive too...

I tried to go through all the comments to find the answer to my question and this may be vague but how did you get your audio the way it is? It’s like low background noise but the closer sounds like the hand kiss was so pronounced. Along with the swift camera move during the budu statue scene. How though??

So as far as the audio goes. Its all in camera sound. Luckily I got pretty good sound cause any in camera sound is not quite good. With that being said i worked with what I had. I threw an Equalizer on the audio tracks and balanced them out. As far as the kiss it was a recorded kiss then added to it. Sound design and song i had made through FL studios

Bert T. shot at 23fps. In 4k but KZfaq doesn't do 4k so its 1080p on here. The ride slowmotion part however was shot at 60fps 1080p. Then interpreted to 23fps in post

Little King this is a really great camera to start off with if you're new to cameras and filmmaking. I suggest messing around with a low end priced camera then upgrade as you go.
