However, it's important to note that not all culinary experiences are positive, as we found out when we tried a local establishment. The disappointing encounter serves as a reminder to always approach new dining experiences with an open mind and a sense of adventure.
Overall, Oasis State Park may be small in size, but it certainly doesn't lack in charm and appeal. New Mexico has some really nice state parks. Having the pass is such a savings too. We have been lucky I can’t recall not liking any place we have had a meal/snacks

Looked like some nice places to see. Stinks the cheese curds didn’t work out. I guess when you have had the best, it’s hard to have anything but. Looks like some open country at the state parks. Safe travels !!

While in NM, you need to try a Slopper. It's a burger in a bowl smothered with green chilies. It's better than it may sound. From St. Louis.

You guys almost had the whole park to yourselves!! It looks really nice!! Were there stickers there? Haha “letting each other out of the rv”! Joel what did you do that they wouldn’t serve you? LOL! Love me a winery!! That’s great that the winery has tasters of local breweries! When in Mew Mexico, you have to have hatch green chilies!! Haha sexy book reading voice! You guys can be cheese curd snobs being from Wisconsin!

It was weirdly empty there, other then a couple of solo female van lifers but was so beautiful there. We so want some more of the cheese dip with the hatch green chilies & should of made that for the super bowl! The worst thing Jarhead has eaten was stinky tofu in Taiwan. Ginger is too picky to try anything crazy like that. We haven't explored much in NM. Looking forward to the 👽 video. 😁

We have the brake buddy, we can't say we love it, but it does seem to work. But did have the wire come loose and cause the brake to stay applied. We did a video on that & sure you saw it. Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya

We were at the Balloon Fest and busy with that and then there was no where to go at Ute Lake State Park so it was a while since being out. Joel refused to read me anything! 😂 We just got into a stretch there with bugs everywhere & couldn't sit out side, plus the wind. But we enjoyed our stay there! Thanks- Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya
