We live in Oklahoma City and have been to the Memorial several times. They have done a lot of work on it and have made many improvements over the years. It is a very emotional experience.

We also went to the memorial and Toby Keith's when we went to Oklahoma City. Memorial was incredible and well displayed (and heart breaking). You said it well, even though it's a big city it has a small town feel. We would like to go back again sometime as well. Great video! 😊

Sorry, the pool was closed. I agree with you that visiting the Oklahoman City bombing memorial was so emotional. We didn't go into the museum. I think we had bella with us. Safe travels. Lynn and Danny

I'm guessing they go by the season more than the temperature when figuring out when to close their pools...still...it was in the 90's!

They said off season starts on Sep 1 for them, but still weird it is closed and seamed like it should have 100% been open. We found some other amazing things to do and enjoyed OK City! thanks- Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya

I remember watching the tragedy in OKC on tv. So sad. We didn't make it to the canal walk when we went through.

The coverage was for like 96 hours strategy and remember it too! And thought why would anyone do something like that and where a daycare center is? The Memorial was so well done and inspiring! We were impressed with OK City, but San Antonio Riverwalk is way better 😜 Thanks- Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya

We enjoyed the memorial. The museum is very well done. We also stayed at Twin Fountains and enjoyed the cafe and bar.

We were impressed with how well the Memorial was done! We couldn't believe the pool was closed already! But Twin Fountains is nice & so was the cafe & Bar. 94 degrees and they closed the pool! Ugh! Maybe it was for the best because it looks like you found some amazing things to do in Oklahoma City. I never would have thought to put that on my map of stops but I will now. And museums/memorials like that are always tough, but always necessary. Safe travels! Bummer about the pool and hot tub! They definitely should’ve told you guys that at least at check in! OKC has a lot more than most people know about! Oh yes, those casinos are stinky! Vegas is the only place we’ve been to that have some casinos where you can’t smell the cigarette smoke! Yuengling is great beer for the price!!Thanks for sharing! Great video! cheers friends! 🍻

We have not been to Oklahoma City yet! We are still confused as to why the pool is closed in the summer! 😕 Y'all did a really good job covering the tragedy. The scene with the picture of the shoe was so sad. 😭 We got a laugh when Joel was done with the interview and started walking off. When we go back to Wisconsin y'all will have to take us to the place that has the best cheese curds! The riverwalk reminded us of San Antonio! ~ Shion and Matthew

Hey guys really enjoyed this trip we want to see all 50 states but you guys really showed us some good ideas for Oklahoma we agree we are not into larger anymore but u won us over. Deb you seriously had me sitting here crying when u started talking about the shoe i lost it and Ron would have had to to take over. We didnt know about that memorial and wow they really do make you sorta interact and feel it. That brewery was our kind of place how neat to be able to watch the horse racing. We love Toby and we would love that bar!! Then the dive bar wow we cant wait to meet up and explore a city with you two. Yes we would be a couple that wouod get drunk and buy a goat not 30 but i have always wanted one of those cute little ones and i bet I would be able to convince Ron especially if we were walking by and saw it! LOL! Oh that campground should go week by week if a chNce of 90 degree weather for sure disappointing. Really enjoyed your trip thx for sharing.

We believe exploring a city with you guys would be a blast! We can tell you that the Memorial was so worth doing and so well done. Yes, emotional, but also uplifted us with how the community came together in a horrible tragedy. OK City had so much to do and we only hit the tip of the iceberg as they say. Ashley got drunk and almost bought horses so it wouldn’t surprise me if she tried to buy goats. 😂 We have bypassed Oklahoma City a couple times but we will probably stop next time now.

Dang it in the cheese vids. 😂😂It did have a good pull. Smoking in the casino is so nasty. 😂😂 never been to one of Toby Keith’s bar. Bill would be right there with you for the Yuenglin. I think you did find a dive bar. Seems to fit the requirements. It’s hard to compete with San Antonio’s River Walk. Be safe guys, Bill and DeAnna
