The Court of Two Sisters in the New Orleans French Quarter is one of the most popular New Orleans Creole restaurants. The Court of Two Sisters has a tradition of offering a Jazz Brunch with an all you can eat Creole buffet which combines good food, good times and good people together in the French Quarter with entrances on both Bourbon Street and Royal Street. The main entrance of The Court of Two Sisters is located in the French Quarter at 613 Royal Street. The building the restaurant is located in was constructed in 1832 where the two sisters the restaurant is named after, Emma and Bertha Camors, later opened The Shop of the Two Sisters in 1886 and closed it in 1904. The property changed owners multiple times evolving into a series of restaurants and bars until in 1963 the current owners, the Fein family, acquired the property and opened The Court of Two Sisters.

Came here in 1977 and remember that we had the bananas flambee for dessert. Yummy! 😋 I believe we ate outside in the courtyard.

Whenever I go to NOLA I have to have at least one Jazz brunch at The Court Of The Two Sisters!! I've been many times and honestly the food and service have varied from outstanding to mediocre over the years but I'll tell ya - that courtyard and the ambiance of a meal there never disappoints!

It is a great venue and with such an ambitious menu of items on the buffet it has to be challenging to keep the quality consistent.

@@NOLAGent1 One thing that never disappoints is the turtle soup. You have to stir the pot really well and you have to give it the sherry as well but I think many people skip it because it's turtle soup. Don't skip it!! It's better at other 'old line' NOLA restaurants but it's consistently excellent there. Another tip for outdoor restaurants there - the birds are hip to the fact that there is free food for them there on your table and some have absolutely no fear of humans.

Looks good! Would I need reservations or have to be there when it opens to get in on a Saturday?
@NOLAGent1
@NOLAGent1 2 жыл бұрын
It does get full fast so reservations are a good idea. Most places are still unable to open to full capacity as they can't get enough staff so a reservation would be the safest way to go.

Your living the Life brother. What are your top 3 restaurants in the Quarter's?

That might depend what I'm in the mood for. If you make me pick just in general I would say Arnaud's, Galatoire's and Antoine's then Tujague's can jump in there too.

Does brunch buffet come with drinks? (Coffee, soft drinks etc...)
@NOLAGent1

All my visits included iced tea so that is included at least. I'm not sure about coffee and soft drinks but I would guess they would be if iced tea is included.

Great review, but our experience was unfortunately not a good one. The buffet items were not very fresh or hot, and the service was very lacking. Overall absolutely not worth the price. The fresh made benedicts and omelets were the only thing really good about it. For what we paid, I really wish we'd gone elsewhere.

Service has really declined in most places since the lockdowns. The food was alright on my last visit but nowhere near the level it used to be before the lockdowns. These days I usually get better experiences in smaller places. I'm sorry you had a bad experience and things can really vary day by day at some places these days. The one consistent thing is it seems everything keeps getting more expensive!

@@paulachannell4296 I hadn't been in decades until August of 2019 when a group of 15 of us ate brunch in the courtyard and we were all very pleased and surprised at how good everything was including service. My visit in this video wasn't up to that standard as the food was good but it was better the past visit and then the service was just pathetic. The venue is definitely a great spot with a lot of character.
