Thanks, Jim! Yeah, I like it more over the previos setup, where the number plate holder wasn't painted and indicators mounted on the frame, futher away from the brakelight. Thanks, man!

I think your old seat looked better, and the rear mudguard in brushed aluminum was preferable. I also don't understand the choice of black throttle body covers. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing how this project build is going to end up.

Hey Tomas! It's all about trying things out for the sake of it! I don't mind swapping things around. And as soon as I am tired of this look, I can always bring back the brushed aluminum. However, I like the new colour combo.

@@thesundayrides Unfortunately at the moment I don't have a motorcycle, I've had several. Kawasaki 500 Gpz, YAMAHA YZF 750 R, HONDA CBR 600, Suzuki Gsx 1000 r, BMW 1200 gt, BMW 1200 rt full, y Montesa impala 175, I bought all of them new and drove them thousands of miles, except for the montesa is a Spanish model from many years ago.

Bonvent makes a single seat for the Conti GT/650INT that is avaliable in Black or Brown from Baxter Cycle here in the U.S., I have considered one for my Interceptor...currently using the R.E. "single touring seat" and very pleased with the comfort and look of it.

Hey! Thanks! The tail tidy kit is from Bonvent Motorcycles it includes the brake light as well. And the indicator purchased separately. Mine are from Motone (bought from Urban Rider) hope it helps! Let me know!

Hi Max, I recently found your channel and love your content. I have just bought an Interceptor, should be delivered this week I hope. I’m planning on the Bonvent seat mod. Can you comment on long distance comfort yet? That’s pretty important to me. I would hope it’s more comfortable than stock right? I’m guessing not as comfy as your suede seat though as you’ve gone back to that now! 😉

Hi Scott! I have their full length seat for about a year - and I am supper happy with it. I had the shorter version of the seat for a few month (demo seat) and I was happy with it as well. Each but is slightly different and has its own preferences, so there is always a bit of a chance and guess work when choosing a seat! good luck! It worked for me and I hope it works for you!

@@thesundayrides hey Max, thanks for your reply. I just picked up my bike this afternoon and took it for a good ride out.. I was very uncomfortable after about 40 miles on the stock seat which is worrying, I hope the Bonvent seat is a game changer otherwise I fear I may have chose the wrong bike! (Which I hope not as I love it). What was your experience/opinion of the stock seat?

@@TheScottrw2002 Hi Scott! Congratulations on your new bike! How does it ride overall? I think stock seat is horrible in every way - looks ugly, feels terrible. Fortunately, there are many aftermarket options. I was happy with both Bonvent seats. I now have a new seat from K Speed. I got it only for stylistic reasons

@@thesundayrides it rides great although I’m being very careful during run in for the first 300 miles! I have the Barcelona blue one, the paint looks amazing in the sun light.. I have big plans for it and your channel has given me much inspiration! I’m in the midlands but I plan on a ride into London at some point as I’d like to visit the Bike Shed.. maybe we could have a little interceptor ride out!? I need to see your new seat now.. which one did you go for, I’ll take a look 😉

Hi! What about your tail light brightness? I ordered the set from bonvent and installed it. The tail light isn't very bright in comparison to the original one. What's your impression on that?

Hi! My impression is okay. I didn't notice it. Also, other riders didn't complain they couldn't see it. May be try recording a video and sending it to Bonvent on WhatsApp. You should be able to find their contacts on their webpage.

How practical is that bag rack im thinking of the modular seat cause i hardy carry a bag but may want to do a overnight trip here in the states im looking at a backback size bag but will spend most time with full seat since my wife is getting a trike and has the trunk

Hey! It is okay for a small bag like you mentioned! To be honest, I rarely carry a bag too, but I much more prefer the look of the short seat, so I was running in a short seat setup for most of the time

Hi There! Thanks! It was rather cold in the past days so I didn't feel it. Also, I am riding in thick jeans and never felt too much heat from the engine.

Hi Max. I learned in another episode of your very entertaining and informative channel that the clutch cable you bought from Baak was too long. As I'm planning to get the same flat track bar like the one you have, I wonder if you could tell me how you solved the problem with the cable. Did you change the bars yourself? Also, I like your fork gaiters. Where did you get them, and are they difficult to fit? Thanks again Max!//Per, Gothenburg Sweden

Hello, Per! Thanks for your compliments and for the questions. Happy to help! The clutch cable is longer than necessary, but it is easy to fit and doesn't create any problems. It is just long. You can see it on all of my videos. So if it doesn't bother you - go ahead. It was the throttle cable that gave me a headache. The thing is, what matters is not the cable length as such, but the difference between the cord and the shell.. It is hard to explain, but as soon as you start to fit it, you will understand what I mean. This difference allows you to configure the play.. but in my case, the cable wasn't correctly cut leaving not enough to be easily installed. I swore a lot and cursed a lot and finally manged to get the little knob fitted to the slot in the throttle body. Anyway, this is all doable. And I think it was only one odd cable that I got. Go ahead and buy it. It is a great kit and I am sure you will manage to get it in one way or another. Some people even say you can get away with the stock cables, but I didn't like that idea.

And the gators were stock on my model. You can buy them separately, but it seams that the installation is rather complex - you either need to remove the wheel or even to take both forks out. I've never done it so I can't advise on this one. Best of luck! And let me know how it goes!

So far I have just changed the silencers, for Italian Mistrals. I don't know how they sound yet, I live in the countryside and the road leading to my house is a dirt road, very muddy right now, because of the rain. Thanks again!

Hey mate I forgot to ask. Did you notice any discolouration of your headers ? I read that since these are single walled and thinner than the stock variant? They are more prone to discolouration from the exhaust gases

Hey Joe! I did, but it is sort of lovely. It comes as brushed aluminum and turns gold! I love it! You may see a slight yellow tint
