Don't get confused. As of now (May 2024), it is best to use BOTH #outlook versions for #email and #calendar management. Old version as desktop app and new version as Windows app or browser version.

Often, the IT policy disables external sharing. If that is the case, you will need to talk to them to justify why external sharing is important for business collaboration. How about a video on the new Outlook Calendar features? (Filter, multi-Calendars, Save declined events, etc.)

New Outlook is still developing. Till we know the final feature set, I don't want to go into details. Other than Save Declined Events, nothing is particulary new. The old Outlook is infinitely more flexible and customizable compared to the new one. Moreover, Filtering and Multi-Calendar works quite well in old version as well. What I want to focus upon is how to handle mails - using old / new does not matter. That problem is still not solved - after decdes of using email... I am working on a email management generic video with best practices that can be applied to specific apps and platforms. Doc.
