Its good to see a healthy working environment for games like these

Each of these dev blogs really connects me to not just the game, but the devs as well. This isn't some AAA team of 50, this is just a dozen or so people joining together to not meet deadlines, but to make something beautiful. Ive played in the pre-alpha, i'm playing the open beta, and I cannot wait for what comes next.

The thing i want most is an accurate angle mod. so you can set and lock the angle rotation of your dig tool; I need perfectly flat ramps and floors.

It is nice to see the members of the team have a voice and an appearance on every update. It feels more personal and connected, and it shows that there is nothing to hide. Larger teams tend to lose the personal connection and ideas aren’t spread around easily. This is an awesome group, and I love the game, I will probably buy everything that comes out of this team.

I absolutely love these vlogs. I wish more small game companies did these kinds of things instead of just being completely silent between ever update. I'm really excited for the changes you are doing. This game keeps getting better and better.

I’m excited for the update, everything is looking awesome! Especially the new resources and the catalogue crafting thing to show what you need before you research, I’ll need that one as I still have more to research. P.S. if you take recommendations from the comments, could you add a hotkey for toggling between fullscreen and a windowed screen? Also this is my favorite game!

The changes with the resources sound exactly like the changes I was waiting for :D No longer bypass everything with the extractor.

I was thinking @System Era. While I was watching the changes to research and thought: maybe requiring a material for certain unlocks could lock some research behind planets. That could help incourage exploring other planets

Can’t wait for new stuff! Some things I hope for: 1. Able to shred or repackage unneeded platforms etc. to get rid of clutter. 2. Force field generator that requires constant power to work, attach to base or backpack to protect from sandstorm, I want to be productive instead of hiding in base, different shield sizes for base takes more or less power. 3. Be able to upgrade habitat to the point of walking inside and adding stations(again, being productive during storm. Also hope for a frozen planet with no storm but you lose power (like oxygen) to stay warm. The point is sandstorms are a nuisance later in the game, 2 and 3 could involve astronium. I hope any of this would be possible🤞🏻

Most of what I wanted to say has already been said by other people, I've had this game since pre alpha and liked watching it grow and seeing what a good team that is behind it. It's rare seeing a game made by people who care more about the game than money and I just think that's cool

Love this soo much!!! i just love how transparent you guys are with your player base, as well this game is very simple but very addictive. Its a nice mix id say of no mans sky and space engineers, which i both love so this game is right in between!

Please add some sort of animals and ecosystems (with even water) like the saiga anthelope, but more buff or looking like a tall anteater, also birds like skyrays from subnuatica, or sky manta rays from worlds adrift, or huge tortoise like animals that can have rocks and flora on their carcass. And also add lightning weather or small sand tornados in specific biomes

Love the progression and work you guys put into this game. I play a lot of early access games and I have to say, Astroneer has to be one of the most updated games. It has progressively gotten better and you obviously listen to the people that play the game. Keep it up.

This Game is genuinely one of my favourites when it first came out it was so basic but I'm so happy I gave it a chance when it was first released in preview cos I've sunk so many hours into it and have watched this game evolve over the following months, the direction this game is going in is a really really promising one, keep up the good work guys

Wow.... i bought the game the first time i see it on microsoft store and i can't belive how many changes you guys did since day one. The game was beatifull then and now is almost perfection.

Be gentle with all the new crafting :) I can tell you that part of the attraction to this game for me is trying to think of ways to engineer simple things like rovers into portable batteries or rolling power stations. It feels like I'm trying to build simple machines into more useful mining methods. Kind of like playing with Legos when I was younger. I'm enjoying that whole "Matt Damon Martian, engineer-your-way-out-of-this" vibe. Just my 2 cents, I trust you :) Keep up the great work, love the game and you should know that yours is the only vlog that I have ever liked. Wish I could get to Seattle to get a fist bump & say thanks!

I'm loving the growth in the 'what' of Astroneer. The big thing I'm craving is the 'why'. Why are we exploring? Where are we from? What's with all the crashed stuff?

i bought the game mainly for the art style, and a saw Z1 Gaming using it, and it looked fun. I've gotten a bit bored recently, but seeing the changes coming, and how excited and passionate everyone at the office is about how the game will be changing has made me excited. Very much looking forward to the next update. I'm in AUS, so i won't be there, but have fun at PAX :)

I love the progression of this game, their test and adjust system is really good. I really hope that we look at some more base building/farming down the track. But even if we don't GREAT game
