Young lady you’re amazing. Keep up the good work. You take all the time you need to grieve and you’re right no one and I mean no one knows what you’re going through. When I lost my wife of over 33 years I had people tell me they knew what I was going through, they had no clue what I was going through and I don’t pretend to know what you’re going through by any means. Good luck to you and your family. The old Mack looks good and you handled it beautifully.

She did run through those gears smoothly! Not like my last time driving a semi (a Navistar) which had the transmission from hell! Miss one shift (not matching the RPM) and you had to stop and start all over again!

I lost my dad in 2019, and it changed my life completely, so for you to still do you, with all the memories around, you are doing great! What impresses me, and I say this with sincere admiration, is the technical understanding that you young girls on the farms have, simply because it is required. When I watch videos like this, I always imagine asking my wife to explain one of these machines to me - I would probably not fall asleep for laughing. Luckily for us, nothing depends on it. But for example, she is great at baking... PS: I love the Mack!

Grace I love it. I learned to drive on a Model R Mack in the late 80s. Macks are reliable, tough and can take a beating. One tip...If the truck has sat for a long time,especially if its winter. When it first starts, dont push down on the accelerator. Go inside for 10 mins and let it slowly warm up. Macks are cold starters. Its better for the engine...I wish I could take it for a spin'

I drove a 1988 Biscayne Mack 5 speed, an old workhorse, never broke down on me, just a tire or 2, no AC, she didn’t like hills but on a straightaway she was the fastest in the fleet, so are so very beautiful, I like your eyes, you have nice arms. I should have taken a picture of that old Mack because when I came into the terminal one day she was gone,I was not happy.

And I love the Mack R. I have one in my truck simulator game. Bit I cheat a bit and use as an automatic. No shifting, no double clutching - you done good, gal! BTW - I play Farming Simulator too, one of my online fellow players is from Kentucky too - up towards Griffin.

I totally agree with you girl I lost my uncle June 28th of this year he was my dad's oldest brother with my dad being the oldest of all five siblings and I took care of my uncle until the day he died and I took care of him for six and a half months so yes I totally get where you're talking about been there and I have nothing bad to say or anything of that nature God bless you girl keep your head up all right I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers for you and your family 🙏

Yo those old RL Macks are sweethearts! Worked for a company decades ago that had a fleet of them. End dumps, transfer dumps. Later I was in logging, yup - more Macks, with brownie boxes. They still have a soft spot in my heart. And that old IH you used in the pull - family still has a couple at the farm! No longer in service, but I remember riding right into town to the cafe with grandpa in the 1066 Turbo. I love that thing.

You got another white dog. YaHoo! MACKs, and cockroaches with survive a Nuke blast. My 1976 R Model had 2.6 million miles when I bought her. 1.3 million later, I sold her for what I paid for her. Watching your Dad's face, when you talked about "pullin'." He's gonna be the biggest, coolest Paw Paw ever! Always nice to see you 2 working together. Stay safe, and healthy out there. XO!

First time seeing your channel. I love the old Mack. My first ride was with my uncle when I was 4. Loved it ever since. Been driving ever since I got out of the USAF. 26 years now. Been hauling cattle for the last 19 and I've always wondered how the inner workings of the combines harvest the corn. As much time as I spend around Kansas farms one would think I'd figured it out by now.🤣. Would love to work on a big farm some day when the FMCSA finally runs me off from trucking. Keep up the good work and so sorry for your loss. I've lost all my grandparents and my mother so I know how it feels. They'll live forever in your heart.

The simpletons who eat, sleep, breath and live social media think that they're always entitled to everything because they've never experienced life, have no social life and think they matter. Social media has ruined humanity forever. I'm new to your channel and honestly I just appreciate when new videos show up (yes I know this one is older). Sorry for your loss. You seem like such a strong individual, nothing would be known if you didnt mention anything. Sorry about your loss. You do a very good job of explaining mechanical processes BTW. Not to be sexist but you have better mechanical knowledge than a lot of men I’ve worked with. And you’re not afraid of getting your hands dirty. You’re a much better welder than I am and I’ve been welding, unprofessionally,for 45 years. Having a good welder makes a huge difference. Just saw your video about taking a break. I’m so sorry there are so many keyboard warriors that feel the need to tell you what you should or shouldn’t be doing! Keep being you! My husband and I love watching your videos! We found out about you from our daughter Teresa. She just was at the big farm show with you guys. It’s so nice you guys connected online and got your spend time together.
