I am glad the price of batteries have gone down. I bought three 12v 100AH batteries from Renogy at the end of 2019 on sale for $900 USD each. I plan on upgrading my battery bank most likely next year when I add a AC unit to my van. The issue I have is either finding another 100AH battery or buying 2 of these and trying to sell my old bank to get some of my money back. Like you have mentioned, Renogy does not have the best customer service, does not sell/make the best batteries on the market but I am going about 3.5 years without any issues. No point of switching now. Keep us updated on how the batteries perform!

Great informative vid,i just purchased renogy 3000w inverter charger,and finnally decided to go with 2 ,renogy core 200 amp batts,so many batteries to choose from ,i can live without bluetooth and purchased the same monitor as you.dont need the heat,as i insulated my front compartment in my trailer with R6 ridgid foam.Like you i opted to go for the 5000 cycles ,which seems pretty good.

Hi can I ask what’s the difference between the renology core range and the standard batteries, looking to purchase here in the UK. However the core seems to be cheaper than the standard but cannot understand why. Cheers Paul
