Q:What camera do you use?
A: I use the Go Pro Hero 7 Black Edition primarily. Often times you will see auxillary cameras in use. Those cameras include The Go Pro Hero 6, Hero, and DJI Mavic Pro Platinum
Q: How big Is your rotator?
A: It is a 50 ton Miller Industries Vulcan 950
Q: Does the carriage slide back like Ron Pratt's?
A: No, the carriage doesn't slide back due to strict weight laws in California. The sliding carriage will make the truck to heavy in CA
Q: Why do you only have 3 winches on the rotator?
A: Comes down to weight again as stated above
Q: How many trucks Does Plaza Towing have?
A: Currently more than 30
Q: Why must the driveshaft be removed to tow a vehicle?
A: When vehicles are not running the transmission is not receiving circulating lubricant. If the driveshaft is left installed, the transmission, which is not receiving lubricant, is still spinning. This allows it to get very hot which eventually will cause major damage to the transmission. Therefore, removing the driveshaft completely eliminates the transmission from spinning. Simply leaving it in neutral is not sufficient since the transmission still spins in neutral.

You can have a PTO overpressure safety valve that dumps to the tank if something causes it to overpressure, like not looping the hoses.

Many pumps have internal relief valves to prevent overpressure.

Trent they make with a plastic line separator with an eye hook in it, instead of using those u clamps. Those u clamps will wear the hydraulic hoses.

Trent, check with your local fire Department to get some used fire hose to run your air and hydraulic hose through and your pig tail also. Let the canvas take the wear not the rubber.

TRENT FYI ALWAYS INSTALL A RUBER GUARD OR SOMETHING THAT YOU AND YOUR PERSONNEL WILL NOTICE BETWEEN THE METAL CLAMPS AND YOUR PRESSURE HOSES. YOU NOTICE THE WARE AND TARE ON THAT FIRST AND NOT ON YOUR $$$$$$$$$ HYDROLIC HOSES 😊

The LOW PRESSURE side hold down where it goes through the support bar slid sideways when you moved the hoses to tighten the high pressure side. WATCH YOUR VIDEO at 27;22

Ok here's the deal I was a trick driver over the road for quite a few years this is back in year 2003 I think is when I came home however I've been looking for a gig where I can just ride in a truck with somebody just done a simple run so if you guys get come up with something where you need someone just sitting there you know rumbling in the back seat I'm great for that role. Important thing you forgot is to lock the articulation with the red bar or use 8 chains 4 on each end

2:53 Those were fake cable car charters that they ran around the San Francisco Bay Area for weddings and stuff. It looks like the company that ran them is out of business now and that one looks older than what they were probably running at the end. My wild ass guess would be that the car was built in the 1980s on top of an older truck or bus frame. The popularity of those things seemed to start in the 1980s. Probably somebody with too much money thought they could repair it and make money with it.

It has the same motor their rotator does which is probably a Cummins X15 that makes 605 hp iirc, I don't know about the transmission

ANYTHING that is WIDER than the trailer is a great start ,but anything over 98 inches & it can be considered a wide load.
