Thanks! I actually just took the parts back to my previous frame Something didn't click for me with this Canfield (I found I prefer the Ragley Big AL's more aggressive geo) Will probably be selling this frame soon

@@ssmtb Ragley makes some really nice frames. I prefer my SS bikes to have a slider drop out or perhaps an EBB. I don’t use standard frames with chain tensioner systems but that’s my personal preference.

@@hardmtnbiker Nice 👍 this was actually my first frame ever with sliding dropouts, I realised that for me the ISCG mounted tensioner I have on the Ragley works pretty well

@@ssmtb yep it’s probably better than the tensioners that look like a modified rear derailleur.

@@hardmtnbiker 4sure, I've had several chain drops with those, the ISCG hasn't failed me even once but it does a bit of noise in comparison to the sliding dropouts

I love my SS and that bike looks great. How can you climb steep technical terrain with flat pedals?

My Catalyst Pedals are one of my favorite components on the bike, they have a super long platform that provides better arch support and improved power transfer

@@ssmtb I watched your review and understand your using flat pedals. The extra length makes good sense. I’ve run clipless for 30 years and after many tries with flat’s just couldn’t make the switch without coming off on steep and rocky terrain. Excellent review of those pedals.
