Hi Andrea, I am a long-time wearer of many different sunscreens both mineral and chemical and hybrid. I recently purchased the Olay SPF 40 sensitive chemical sunscreen and I’m loving it! It’s smooth, doesn’t pill, doesn’t sting, isn’t tacky, and it’s actually moisturizing. I think this is a great value for the amount you get for the money you pay. I think you’d like it too!

I just picked up Bliss Block Star tinted 100% mineral SPF 30 at Marshall’s for $ 7, it’s $ 25 at Ulta and I am loving it way more than the ELF Whoa Glow and Cerave Hydrating mineral sheer tint SPF 30. Very happy with my purchase, it was a great find. It expires 10/2026.

OMG I am running to Target immediately for that Olay SPF 40. 6 ounces is so much and the formula looks awesome. Finally, an Olay sunscreen that isn't 1 oz or only spf 15. Amazing!!

I've been using the Eucerin tinted face sunscreen ever since you reviewed it last year. I love the shade and consistency. It's easy to blend and due to its lightweight feel, it's a great alternative to foundation in hot/humid weather.😎☀

I use the Eucerin 50 tinted everyday. My skin is crazy sensitive and I've had such good luck with this. I do a 3 mile walk during my lunch break and want to watch my sun exposure.

Just an FYI, the company BLISS has a multi-ounce bottle of Niacinamide (it's the 2nd ingredient) for ~$16. I think it's carried at most drugstores (get mine through CVS online). I love the results I get from using it.

I want to thank you once more for advising to use the cicaplast gel around the eyes. I’ve already been a fan of this product, but I wasn’t comfortable to start using it for the area around my eyes myself, because it’s written on the packaging not to do that. Foot creams use mint because it's cooling to the skin. I usually prefer foot creams without it, but it's nice to use in the summer.

I just want to thank you so much for your videos. I recently had a bad contact dermatitis rash on the lower part of my neck. It was burning, itchy, red, and crepey looking. I researched some of your videos and found one from three years ago where you recommended using Aveeno anti itch or Aveeno baby eczema cream. I ran to Target and could only find the baby cream and put it on in the car. I immediately felt relief! I put the Cerave Healing Ointment on top and within 24 hours my skin is doing 90% better! The redness is gone. The creepiness is better! You saved me a doctor’s visit! Thank you!!! Now I’m scared to use anything on my neck for anti-aging. I caused this with a retinol cream. What can I use now on the lower part of my neck for anti aging?

I love the DRMTLGY foot cream and find the peppermint oil soothing for the plantar fasciitis burning. All the products I use are fragrance and essential oil free except for my foot cream.

Dr.Dray! I just bought the new DOVE serum body wash for SENSITIVE skin 2 days ago! I Don’t think you saw that one? It has colloidal oatmeal in it!!! ❤ I thought the oatmeal extract would help with the serious eczema I have been experiencing on my back 🙏🏻💗 I am pretty bummed that it’s “fragrance free” because I love a nice scenting body wash… and this has an odd scent… BUT I LOVE HOW IT FEELS on my skin!!!! It is so gentle, and my skin feels so soft and not irritated!!!🎉🎉🎉

Agree-LRP is funny in that their products like moisturizer and sunscreens are often fragrance free and yet the serums have headache worthy scents- plus I feel they are too pricey for the relative products being sold as drug store options.

The new Dove Shampoos are fantastic. Also I tried the dove serum conditioner mask that another commenter recommended and it’s AMAZING. I have a very expensive Amika hair mask and this one was 10x better with my hair. I think you can only find it from target

I bought the new Dove Body Wash on impulse, the blue one for hydration. I've been really enjoying it, I really enjoy the scent and the lather and it's creamy and non-drying. TBH I picked it up because I liked the scent the most! Plus I knew the vitamin C was not going to get into my skin in just body wash form, thanks to you 😊

Omg I have the up and up kids sunscreen sticks and I loveeeeee it! If you’re a poc it is white cast free! Anddd it doesn’t burn my eyes either so I can finally put spf on my eyes lids without basically crying hours after plus it’s two for $8! 100000000/10

Dr. Dray- I would love to see you review the good molecules sunscreen… I have used it and there really is not much of a white cast at all… I do have pale skin, but in comparison to other mineral sunscreens I’ve used I imagine this would work well on darker skin tones too… I’d be curious what you thought of it. I think I read somewhere that it’s not a “true” mineral sunscreen due to some ingredient, but I don’t remember which.

What is 100% effective for dark spot?

I am currently using the Cocokind retinol gel. It’s great! I tried an Ordinary retinol prior that irritated my skin terribly, but when I switched to the Cocokind, my skin took to it much better!

If it is peppermint in the foot cream I find that cooling effect helpful when I have restless feet/legs at night….i like Watkins peppermint lotion when I can find it

Dr. Dray do you pick mascaras for the brush like I do? I like the coke bottle shape brushes and prefer Milani Anti-Gravity but I only keep mascara for 1.5 to 2 months because they dry up and flake.

The ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion says in their ingredient list that it has both Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate and Retinol and it intrigued me because it has two types inside 😅. Has anyone found a Dube for the color science flex tinted sunscreen, I really like it but it is so expensive. You don't have to shake it and it changes color as you rub it in. The colors and coverage are really nice.

Dove's anti-dandruff haircare line in Asia utilizes piroctone olamine instead of zinc pyrithione. I personally love PO, because it is more effective in controlling dandruff and it doesn't sting my eyes.

Please tell us the sunscreen ingredient that can cause orange staining on some people's clothes and light hair when they perspire. I haven't bought Neutrogena sunscreen for over 20 years because of staining my white outfit at my husband's company picnic (memorably embarrassing!!). The staining has happened with other US made chemical sunscreens I've tried. I don't know what ingredient to avoid. I use mineral sunscreens on my body and wear a lot of orange in hotter months! I haven't noticed the problem with Korean sunscreen on my face.

In general a larger company does give a somewhat better guarantee that its stable and effective, because they have the budget and knowledge to do so, but at the same time its not a guarantee. Their La Roche Posay Vitamin C is probably the most unstable vitamin C I've seen. Paula's Choice, owned by Unilever, their Retinols are not very stable either. Even CE ferulic, I question wether it really is better than most competitors, it turns brown way quicker in my opinion, but also the patent describes all the combinations they tested as clear, while in real life its actually yellow/beige. For me at this price point, even with all the studies, it doesn't feel comfortable, I would like more information, how does it compare to competitors, what does the stability data look like, a fresh product may have given great results in those studies, but what about my product that has been sitting for months on a shelf in a warehouse.. What I would really like the skincare industry to focus on, in stead of making a thousand variations of the same product, or using very high percentages of ingredients to draw attention of consumers, jumping from one trendy ingredient to the next, I would really like if brands would focus on sharing more data about their product, do clinical testing, with a correct study set up, optimize existing formulas, and share data with consumers, share stability data.. let consumers know how stable a product is, wether it works. What is the benefit of bringing out the next retinol serum, if you never really know for certain wether its stable and effective.

What do you recommend for a mineral (ideally tinted) sunscreen (with minimal cast if not tinted) that’s higher than spf 35 and water resistant? I cannot seem to find one that fits that bill (and isn’t expensive) EVERY organic sunscreen I try burns my eyes…and tastes bad upon working its way to my mouth. Thanks!

Has anyone used the Eucerin fragrance free body lotion with spf 15 or 30? I'm considering trying it out because I find most sunscreens feel too sticky on my body and the few reviews I've read on these products praise the fact that it doesn't feel sticky. The skin1004 sunscreen I use on my face is just too expensive to use all over. 😕

I personally only want to use spf 50 or higher and has to be mineral otherwise my eyes BURN lol
