I'd argue flame swords man link is another good option for this deck, it can be made with the units you steal from ya opponents, it can resummon striker raye if you kamikaze or get destroyed, and if you want it can boost ya striker raye.

Ah yep that’s a good one too! Someone in my stream chat mentioned that as well and I forgot to put a note in the deck profile for it It’s a shame that you can’t afterburner it to trigger it but crashing for kagari is still nice

Eagle booster is one of the best cards in the mirror, if the decks becomes very popular. One of the best shizuku shuffle targets too.

That’s true yep, I’m not against playing the card I just didn’t feel it to be necessary on ladder at the time Anchoring yourself in the mirror is good too and achieves a similar thing, but I suppose you only have 2 Anchor so having the option to tutor into Eagle Booster (which is also better in the mirror in general) makes sense there 👍

Yh, definitely a card to keep in mind. The single kagari resolving is also important , and it opens another checkmate situation where you can crash with hayate, send anchor/ eagle/engage and set up a game ending situation with double engage next turn because you will survive no matter what thanks to eagle.

I don’t play duel links but the lack of mp2 forces some creativity it will be interesting to see how things develop for the deck there.

I needed IDP against lunalight bosses and other bosses who are untargetable with huge attack. Since i don't have that card i just use 2 copies of drowning mirror force it really help me with against a swarm of blue eyes. They just love to attack since sky strikers are really low on attack.

Literally doesnt even matter anymore. Everything is just negate everything or infinite resources now. I hate it. I've been sitting at lvl 19 of 20 in the KC cup all day and i just dropped to 18. FML it always makes me brick in lvl 19! EVERY HAND!

How do you do the famous Shizuku add Widow, Widow negate Shizuku, Multirole set Widow combo in the end phase? I'm on mobile but even with all the manual chain options active it still ends my turn as soon as I add Widow without allowing me to activate it

In order to this in both Duel Links and Master Duel, you have to not use a sky striker spell card while Multirole is active before moving to the end phase - because otherwise Multirole will prompt you to set before Shizuku’s search effect After, you search Widow Anchor and (with toggle on maybe? I’m not actually sure if you need toggle on here because my brain always defaults to toggle on here haha) activate it on Shizuku, to which Multirole will then prompt you afterwards to reset the Widow Anchor

Good video Luke and an interesting list. The Dark World Dealings and the Dragged Down are quite neat. How well have they worked for you? I used Into the Void with some levels of success. My list runs 1 Eagle Booster just so I can search it if need be and 1 Base as I only have 2 Shizuku. I have 2 Droplet so what would you recommend replacing for them?

Thank you! Though mostly experimental they worked nice, as my issue on paper with Into the Void was using it going second and not being able to sculpt the hand as easily - resulting in more than 1 card being discarded in the end phase Void is most likely better though, but I wouldn’t say I disliked Dealings/Dragged Down

@LukeTylerYGO Yeah the full hand discard can be an issue. You lose the option to keep an Engage or Raye in hand for next turn which can come back to bite ya next turn.

What is the interaction between into the void and Shizuku ?

Shizuku searches before Into the Void discards the hand So if possible you want to have Raye on board, move to end phase, and then Raye tags into Shizuku after Void discards your hand

Hey Luke, what do you think about combing Sky Striker and BLS? Can I make up for BLS weak first turn, while giving thr deck a good backrow removel and giving Sky Striker an good attack power spike. Or are there bad interactions I am not noticing?

Heyo, I think it’s definitely doable, but the issue is that you won’t be able to use the grave effect of Raye and you lose Engage access - so I’m not too sure how great it would be

I think 3 cannon is pretty good because it counters all of the meta + it helps a lot in mirrors

It’s true, but it’s also easily searchable and you don’t want to draw multiple of it when it’s not doing much

Not bad, Im debating on which deck to make if this or zombie pile. I know zombie pile is better but is VERY likely to get some sort of hit on the next list and at the same time I don’t know if SS has what it takes to be meta relevant in the long run.

Thoughts on mourner? Read something about all ygo games implementing ocg rulings which makes mourner better because in tcg your optional effect must be cl1 on your turn from what I understand. Anyway do you think it will replace veiler going forward? Or will it be good only from time to time(I guess zombie meta is one of those times)?

I think mourner is very good, but since it has to be chain link 1 in your turn I don’t think it objectively outshines other tech options

Ok I can confirm now that Mourner does not have to be chain link 1 on your turn, so the card seems very nice!

No. You don't need T.G. EX and you only need 1 Limiter Removal.

Into the Void is probably better yea, though Dealings can feel better going second sometimes as it’s harder to resolve the Shizuku search by Raye tagging (to dodge Void discarding the hand)

Widow Wich let's you negate the monster effect and steal that monster I just beat someone stealing there elemental hero sunrise with a plus 3 from power of the guardians Yeah Iv seen some people use mind control but with Widow it's not really necessary

Dark world dealings let's you free discard which puts two spells in grave so you're almost at 3 so you start getting the bonus effects from striker spells
