Maybe have it be that you can upgrade units within hordes similar to chaos warband upgrades (a key one being choosing between archers upgrading into seaguard, and then sisters of averlorn, or upgrading them into shadow warriors, and then shadow walkers) It'd be interesting to see how they implement an alith anar horde faction though. Maybe being able to do something similar to beastmen herdstones and wood elf forests where you make gateways to allow faster travel between a small number of owned settlements you can take

Teclis starting in a major port settlement is a huge difference. Your a fool to think otherwise

Teclis previous position gave him only one real option to expand, which is south towards Kairos. (Going north against Kroq-gar doesn't make much sense as it would be a guaranteed two front war in the early stage of the game). Now he can go North east, north west or south. This also gives Kroq-gar more breathing room. Kairos position didn't get any worse and he might even stop Oxyotl from taking all of Penguin land. With Skrag I feel he just doesn't fit into the general area. I get that they didn't want him starting right next to the other Ogre faction, but he just feels squeezed in. Lorewise he could be anywhere since he wanders around, but looking at the map it's hard topin point a good location for him. The old world, the Southlands, Naggarond and Lustria are all pretty filled to the brim while the Warhammer far east already has an ogre faction. We also need to consider future DLC factions, most will be in the eastern regions, but some like one Cathayan faction might make it to Lustria. I think Skrag will, just like Nakai be thrown into any area that happens to be somewhat empty and further away from their races main area any time they add new factions. It's not easy to balance game play, lore and faction diversity. Tho throwing Skrag unto Ulthuan would be kinda funny.
