I think the Mangler Squigs could be done as a bound models much like kislev sleds and Chorf trains are. Also Snotlings sound like a potencial support unit by having an aura that regens fatigue or hp. Otherwise I could see them throwing the mushroms that poison the enemy and apply various debuffs depending on mushroom colour variant. Basicly orc version of the dwarf miners.

Id love to see the spear chucker qs an artillery piece. Itd be something sweet for taking down large targets like giants and the like. Id also love to see savage ork leaders like big shamans or chiefs as recruitable lords. I grew up with warhammer fantasy and I'm loving all these greenskins units I'm just now learning about.

Having seen the vid yesterday with the anouncement of Gorbad, they have emphasised the squigyness so i hope they add a savage orc great shaman, savage orc big boss, and a unit of savage orcs with big stabbaz. An alteration on the stabba beimg a weapon team and instead making a kind of orc pikeman anti large to make up for the lack of spear armed units but with a really iconic and silly unit

I'm actually happy with none of the Announced legendary lords: Golgfag: Prime LH material, particularly as he could be available for EVRY faction (in a somehow limited fashion) Skulltaker: Well he's the Epidemius/Blue Scribes of Khorne and should be treated as such. Gorbad Ironclaw: Is dead and should be treated as such!

I personally really wanted to see Gorfang Rotgut for the GS, not this time I guess.

Looks like the list I would have went with too. Expect Bloodbeast of Khorne instead of Khorne ogre/troll. But im hoping for khrongor with throwing axes instead.

Yeah greenskins where in a perfact spot to have a champions of chaos style dlc, I love how thematic the dlc is going to be but part of me thinks kislev would have been a better choice

There’s one Greenskin unit no one brings up: an Arachnarok variant equipped with a net/web launcher loadout. Imagine the utility of pitting enemies in place, without having to select an upgraded Wurrzhag as your Lord.

man it's gonna be neat to see Gorbad Ironclaw. since Gorbad is by far said to be the biggest of orcs and one who has caused the most amount of devastation. not to mention gather the biggest Waaaagh known in the old world. plus i like how in lore that he was so tough that he survived getting run through by a lance and just swatted the knight off their horse and pulled out the lance

The colossal squig was hinted at. They basically confirmed that there would be squig units and that the Greenskins were gonna get something "colossal". I'll take that as borderline confirmation. Gorbad leading Goblins also isn't too weird. He's one of the very few Greenskins with an actual understanding of military tactics (other than him, there's really only Skarsnik and Azhag, and Azhag is technically an idiot with a really smart hat) and as such he understands the strategic value of Goblins. I believe his lore also explicitly states that he lead a very diverse cast of different Greenskins. Generally speakimg, the only Orc who will absolutely never under any circumstances lead Goblins is Grimgor because he absolutely bloody hates them, seeing them as weak cowards. Other Orc leaders are generally indifferent about Goblins, viewing them as expendable fodder but not deliberately excluding them.

They mentioned colossal with Greenskins, which will obviously be the colossal squig, which will be the hard hitter unit like slaughterbrute and thundertusk.

Ok now im mad i love story campaigns. Immortal empire is so boaring. Its just capture x number factions boop boop boop. Its like impossible to loose if you don't play on insane. I honestly want more story campanges thats the only mode i play because vits fun to play them.

I feel you are mistaken regarding using a Feral Thundertusk as filler. We don't have Feral Stonehorns or Feral Mournfangs. I feel like such feral variants would be an update addition instead of part of a paid DLC.

I won the lottery with this DLC. I've wanted a non-modded Gorbad for years and Maneater is a miniature I've owned and loved the lore behind for just as long.
