I feel like Superman legacy could take inspiration from Kingdom Come in a thematic way. More like a meta commentary on the current state of the superhero genre and people’s obsession with dark parodies of superheroes (like The Boys for example) by having Superman himself introduce to the world of the DCU (which thinks that kindness is old fashioned) all the values of what a superhero should bear .

I've always wondered what james gunn idea was for kingdom come. But now with superman legacy suit having a kingdom come logo gave me an idea that maybe superman is stepping in to shine some light because the other heroes like the authority were taking matters into their own hands

I am ok with the Kingdom Come S not my preferred BUT looks more “alien” than the traditional one. I just hope it’s yellow and with a yellow S on the cape.

I think the Superman symbol is just stylized. Something fresh and new with notes from the comics. Maybe James Gunn wants to develop things into a Kingdom Come movie, but I think a Justice League International film is more likely to be set up, what with Guy Gardner and Booster Gold being characters that are set to be introduced early on in this timeline.

My two favorite superman suits come from the CW. That Brandon Routh kingdom come suit, and the max fleischer suit Tyler Hoechlin wore in the flashback scenes of Superman & Lois.

Cris, I saw it suggested by Jurassic Outpost that Universal might have the super tight deadline for Jurassic World 4 in an attempt to avoid or preempt competition from Flowervale Street. Flowervale Street is an upcoming film from David Robert Mitchell (director of It Follows). It's set in the 1980s, also features dinosaurs, and stars Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor.

I'm a Borderlands fan and I think it looks like it could be fun, people seem to forget that adaptations are rarely copy paste they will make changes and I don't think they've done anything too far off
