Breachers hit on 3+ so when guided they hit on 2’s. Missed that on a ton of these. Also, with full rerolls to hit it’s best to fish for 6’s when lethal is active.

I think he was also hitting on 3s with missile drones when it should have been 4s.

It's not as simple as always fishing. It very much depends on the target & hit chance. It's not worth losing hits for an easy wound.

It's absolutely insane that a riptide is so bad it can literally not do a single wound to a custode.

I like to use broadsides and hammerheads but everyone's talking about rushing in where I like to sit back and shoot people the pieces what detachment best for that

kauyon would be best for you, or by the sounds of things, kroot too with their revives, stealth and inv for objectives

@@TheRealKyle thanks for that I've been really trying to find an answer but it's been quite hard I was thinking those would be the detachments but I was like maybe I'm missing something how ever bin was talking about it just making it quite difficult

@@misterbuu6333 currently it's best to sit back with kauyon, but you do need objectives too. if you don't aim disrupt objectives for 2 turns for example then the opponent has free reign over a empty board to screen, claim etc i personally use kroot (before reveal) and i use them to screen deep strikes/reserves, screen movement/charges holding them back off objectives or at very least the ability to charge my heavy hitters. they are quite durable with at least 10 models with stealth. if you use farstalkers they can deny a lot of no mans land for opponents infiltrators, and a great wall for them both going first (better) or second turn, and you don't even have to go into combat with them. just block them, only flyers can go over them. keep in mind, i always spread them out by 2" coherency which expands a line , a 10 man can screen 1/3 of a board. hope it helps

Could make better use of the devil fish once they are empty just slowing them down by charging in and if you have extra cp tank shock.

Did they change missile drones from ap -2 [ into -1] also riptide had twin linked secondary fire is that no longer twin linked

yeah they changed the missile drone to match missile pods. The riptides secondary fire is twin linked still so we may have missed it in that activation

Hi guys! Nice battle-report and great funny army lists!! Good job as always!! Could someone explain me why did the Custodes get 10 and 15 in Primary at the end of the turn 5? Is it a special rule of this primary mission? Thanks! ☺️

Primary was Priority Targets. Scores 5VP for each objective marker controlled at end of game.

The stinger on the bug is a female only thing that barb is used to lay the eggs she puts it into the soild and lays the eggs the spiders was one case outback toilet near extinct today there was also a kerosene light up the gentlemans wife had used kerosene to clean the toilet he was smoking and when he finished he put the butt in the bowl with the trapped kerosene up it went 😃😄😁😆😅 5 Smile's. The Tau are now battle forged love there drone strike equipment twin top bottom twin guns would go nice on them bikes 😁.

EDIT: I was wrong Adrain, when using For The Greater Good rule, a unit can be an “observer” unit and then shoot with being a “guided” unit. So if you “observe” with a Riptide, and then after the guided unit resolves its attacks, then you can use the same Riptide as a “guided” unit with a different “observer.” Just because a unit Observes doesn’t mean that it later can’t be guided… Great game though!! Love seeing tau on the table!

incorrect - and it also clarifies that you can't guide an observer in the new codex too. showing a chart too as it's never intended to guide an observer like a chain

Loved seeing those cool proxies. Glad to see people are moving away from GW WYSIG crap given they now force old school players to proxy half their old first born as primaris now.
