New Vaillant Ecotec Plus Installation Issues, Insulation Causing Problem & Replacing a Old ecotec

When installing the "New Vaillant Ecotec Plus Combination Boiler" I have had some issues with the new insulation on the back of the boiler. I will show you what I have done to over come the problem.
Also when replacing an old Vaillant ecotec with the New Vaillant ecotec Boiler everything should line up but I found that was not quite the case. I will show you what I did find.
PLUS I found a really useful Menu which is sort of hidden.

Fitted one today, insulation was a pain,it fell off so just didn't bother fitting it. Easy to convert to lpg, and commission.

Hi Mark we have an older eco tec 832 model around 8 years old however ever since we have had this it seems to take an age to get the radiators upto temperature it gets to 39 and stops for around 30min then decides to run again to around 50 it's fine with hot water its been regularly serviced can this problem be fixed or do we need a new boiler many thanks kev .

Found the new one a disappointment to be honest. So heavy compared to competitor boilers for a start. The insulation on the back as you've pointed out just gets in the way, I thought it was just me! And you're right the connections below are a pain especially the prv, it's just in the wrong place and too tight to the condensate run.

Hi, I've been looking through your various videos and I must say thay are brilliant and thank you for experience and help. I have a ecotech pro 28 and I seem to be having a problem with the clock! I know this may not be something you can deal with, but I wonder if you have come across this problem? Just recently the clock has sarted to play up and stops working or losing time. I have tried a replacement with a recondition clock (which I sent back) and it turned out to have the same problem. Any ideas? Thank for your time. Regards.

Hi Mark, great video! I have this boiler model installed and the touchscreen keeps rebooting when the boiler is running, thus is something related to heat. Did you encounter this problem before?

Was thinking the same, its a highly efficient and well featured boiler but the internals look like a nightmare to work on and i've heard of so many problems already with these. Was trying to research for a while what I should replace my aging baxi with and i'll probably grab a Worcester Bosch
