Thanks a lot for the video phoned vaillant technical who recommended this timer stated it can be turned on and off and timed you just saved me a whole lot of hassle just shows that you are more knowledgeable than the technical team themselves what a joke hey kudos to you sir

Make it wireless? I dumped the wireless vsmart because the wireless was causing problems over and over again. Connect, reconnect, reconnect again. Hopeless. I agree with your remarks on the "manual". Terrible! Thanks very much for explaining how to set the minimum temperature. Could't find it in the manual, unbelievable. I bought the vrt 50 for a wired totally manual operation after getting frustrated with the vsmart and vsmart app not agreeing on what to do and losing conection over and over again.

I need to replace a Vailliant VRT 350F as people find them very confusing.This is for a rental property. Rather annoying that you cannot install non vailliant controls with vailliant on open therm etc. What is your go to control? Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Can you please let me know hw to turn off the heating at night. it turns on due to anti frost function and room goes to 20 degree which is the temperaure i selected for the day. thank you

It is explained from 6:50 onwards. Standard the minimum temperature is 15 degrees celcius. When it gets colder at night the heating is switched on, regardless of the temperature you chose.

Is there a way of activating the built in central heating timer on the new generation Vaillant combi boilers without using additional controls

Just to let you know not every person wants to run their boiler by wifi or wireless. We bought this item for the very fact we didn't want it wireless. You right in saying the booklet is useless though.
