New Via Rail train set passing through Indiana

7 ай бұрынCN 8961 towing Via Rail Charger and Venture set 2205 - 2304 through Valparaiso, Indiana. 4th June 2023. Union Pacific hauled this train set and several Amtrak Midwest Venture coaches to Chicago from Siemens Mobility Northern California factory, where Canadian National took possession of this train set to pass through South Bend, Indiana, Battle Creek and Port Huron, Michigan before entering Sarnia, Ontario, Canada.

Apparently the UP locomotive towing it from California to Chicago had a mechanical failure in Chicago.

The train goes on the UP transcontinental route and eventually they go through Rochelle IL on the UP Geneva Sub. Eventually they get to Chicago and give CN the set and they take it to Canada.
