I was lucky enough to talk with John Robert C, The new vocalist of Crystal Lake! If you are unaware, this dude literally taught himself enough Japanese to fly from Florida to Japan to nail a multipart audition process AND FUGGIN WON. The chad energy is strong, here. This interview was constantly throwing me for a loop, and I'm excited to hear what John and the other guys in crystal lake have in store!

Their set at knotfest was fucking insane. Everyone threw down like crazy. I've never been to a metal show let alone moshed and that day was the first day I ever jumped into the pit. It was fucking amazing. Their set was SO GOOD. He sounded real fucking tight.

Had no idea he was the vocalist for My Bitter End! Loved them back of the day and named my Rogue in WoW after him (Bitterend) among other characters across the years. This is awesome!

This really changed my mind on John. I live in Japan and speak Japanese, and when I had seen him in IG videos using some Japanese it looked like he only memorized like ten words and called it a day, but the way he described it here was quite insightful! Definitely a smarter guy than he came across to me as

Thats sick! On another note...your should cover some Summoning the Lich (all their texts revolves around d&d, magic the gathering and so on)(and their vocalist, David Bruno, is very talented) like Cult of the ophidian or demon of the snow would be sick!! 😊

Ive been going through your videos, and I’m now realizing, have you not done a video on kyo???? this is a crime! Midwife live with the pink lights it’s the first one when you search most likely you should react to that song!! He does this demonic thing with his voice I’ve never heard before. I have no fucking clue how he did it, it sounds like a straight up vocal effect. It needs an explanation, and you’re the guy! Check it out!
