Absolutely would love to see the process video!!! This looks like a really good it really reminds me of Dana fox’s book which is also really good I love this type of set up easy to understand and love that you can work in the book!!!

Wonderful review, thankyou Alyona! I'm happy she's chosen colors that we're suggested in her previous book as well, it looks like only perylene maroon and parylene violet have been added, this makes it very economical to go from one book to the next. Like you said, she's obviously put alot of thought and hard work into this book as well! Definitely excited for this one💖

I'm used to working on 140lb/300 gsm hot press Arches 100 % cotton watercolor paper. Can you tell me what type of fiber the paper is made of, cotton or wood pulp? I'm also curious about how the thickness compares to something like Arches hot press or cold press paper. For instance, is it porous (soak up the water and colors) or does the color sit on top? Also, how much buckling does it do when the paint dries? Sorry for all the questions. I just want to know if it'll be more useful to transfer to a better quality paper.

Since this is hard bound (not spiral - which would be so much easier to use), how hard is it to paint in the book, given how it is bound?

Can you tell if the watercolor paper is hot or cold press? This looks like a really nice book!

It has texture. So I’d say more cold pressed. :)

Sometimes I press the wrong thumb by mistake on a video. I hope I realized every single time that has happened so I could correct it, because I would never thumb down anything unless it has animal abuse or something in it 😢 Anyway, my point is that it might have been downvoted by accident 😊

So upset because I ruined my book because I didn’t have the right colors I have only a 48 half pan paint set not tubes with the right colors and now I’m going to throw it away since colors don’t match so frustrating

It’s a beautiful book, shame to throw it away! So much content to learn from. You don’t have to have identical tube paint colours, just mix your palette pan colours to match the colour that’s required! You can mix any colour, doesn’t matter if it’s from a pan or a tube. A tube colour is just already mixed up for convenience but you can do the same! Please don’t throw the book away! 😁🧡

You don’t have to throw it away… just trace the drawings on good watercolor paper and paint again n again🌺
