Yea, and make attrition matter more in countries provinces being occupied, but the base country still has relatively high war support, since you could argue that it would add "flavor", like make it slightly possible for a general (or a Field commander/marshal) to get a higher chance of being injured because some people (likely through an event) bombed a whole unit(s), or get shot through an assassination attempt; or just permanently "injured" because they actually got taken out (without that 30% stat effectiveness thing that happens because of a general or field commander got injured in base HOI4), or that still happens but the general/FC doesn't die but goes into a coma because of some debilitating injury(s). There's no real excuse for that not happening in base HOI4, like very little in the way of basically going uncontested because no one, aside from actual units, wanted to oppose your forces (despite going to war with you, either because you justified or they did).

Heheheheh, hopefully it will be one day. I just played in a 6 hour Stellaris game today with one of the RF devs today though so I might be partially to blame for distracting them. :)
