NEW WHEEL DAY!! Gr.A Centre lock wheels on my R32 GTR

So excited to get my new Ric Wood Motorsport wheels on my skyline.
Ric has done a hub conversion to centre locks for the R32 GTR, I am the first to try it for Ric, the wheels are actually made by Image but they are a very good replica of the original Group.A touring car wheels.

It probably wouldn’t be road legal anymore but a side exhaust would look and sound amazing on the R32 like the old Group A car. Beautiful car anyway and good luck at Oulton

Nice work from Tyrepoint. I used a Point S approved centre in an emergency whilst traveling and was pleased with the service so well worth seeking out. Image make a good wheel. An acquaintance had a set made for a Caterham some time ago. Lovely choice of tyre and the wheels look smashing on the GTR. Thank you.

You have no idea how envious I am of the Gr.A centerlocks, kudos man! i've been planning to get a custom set of magnesium centerlocks made that are heavily Gr.A inspired, but have been struggling with the design (and the price tag). I'm curious what Ric's asking for those, I didn't see them on the site, just the centerlock adapters.

Thank you 🙏🏻 Yeah for sure, have a look at Image wheels. You will find the VR5 rim on their then it’s just a case of having a set made by them the same spec has ric uses.

Perhaps it's a Rick Wood thing, but most race car centre lock hubs are right hand thread on the Left side, and left hand thread on the Right ?

Be interested to try Bilsteins although I have just splashed out on the Ohlins DFV and I must say they are very good. Best damper I’ve been on yet.

Worst colour wheel choice IMO, just doesn’t compliment against the burgundy paint colour of the R32 & actually clashes badly. A gold metallic colour wheel centre piece would’ve been a perfect contrasting match. Maybe you have the blue Calsonic GTR of Ric Wood fixated in your head?
